Perfect for led lights
These were perfect since I did not want to put holes in my wall I used double sided tape and they worked perfect to hang my lights, without showing

Clips fit GREAT, but tape is HORRIBLE
I got these clips because the rope lights we bought did not come with enough for what we wanted to do. The flat rope lights, which is what we bought, fit perfectly in these clips. However, the two-sided tape that comes attached to each clip does not work very well. I must’ve accidentally removed the tape from 20 clips, trying to peel off the piece of protective paper, before I finally just purposely removed the tape and used my own. If the tape came off each clip that easily, then it definitely wasn’t going to stick to the wall. I understand that the tape cannot be too strong or it will rip off the paint and/or drywall, but it shouldn’t be so difficult to remove the protective paper on each one. That’s why I gave this 3 stars. Other than that one issue with the tape, these clips are wonderful. The two-sided tape that I did use, worked very well and I was sort of able to do what I wanted to. (See pictures.) I feel as if I could’ve done a better job.

Consider the thinness of the light strip
Item is well made and comes in a tidy little case. Item shipped quickly and arrived in perfect condition. Unfortunately, this is not the proper kit for the very slim, flat led strip lights. A better bet for them would be the kit that goes OVER the very flat skinny light strips. We made it work by sliding the light strip UNDER these and then screwing the holder OVER the strip, without going THROUGH the strip. Hope this is helpful to someone. (I think this kit might work better for wider light strips or tubular shaped strips.) Good luck!

Amazing
I have gone through more diffused led strip lights than clips.. and I have ZERO broken clips. Seriously though.. I thought these things would go brittle over time. They do not, at least not indoors, as is my use case scenario. These things just.. last. They got the material perfect.
