Well designed, worked great. Would have been better if I hadn’t drilled through the lighting circuit and tripped the downstairs lights… and then had to cut a big hole in the ceiling… but the bracket was the easiest bit! Standard top quality product from Ubiquiti

Unifi Access Points gibt es in zwei Größen. Die vorliegende Universalhalterung ist zur Verwendung mit den größeren Access Points gedacht. Will man diese auch an kleineren APs wie den NanoHD verwenden, muss man sich noch einen passenden Adapter (Retrofit Mount) bestellen. Vorteil der Universalhalterung ist, dass sie anders als die früher mitgelieferten Träger aus Metall und nicht mehr aus Kunststoff gefertigt ist. Darüber hinaus bietet sie zahlreiche Bohrlöcher und kann so deutlich universeller verwendet werden. Insbesondere wenn schon Bohrlöcher an der Decke vorhanden sind, ist das ein Vorteil. Mitgeliefert werden außerdem metallene Klammern, mit denen die Halterung an den Trägern von Deckenpaneelen abgehangener Decken befestigt werden kann. Ich habe sie verwendet, um meine AC Pros und auch meinen NanoHD (mit dem beschriebenen Retrofit Adapter) an der Decke zu befestigen. Das gelang problemlos, sowohl an einer Stahlbetondecke als auch an einer Trockenbau-Decke. Die Access Points hängen seit Jahren sicher an den Decken. Beim U6 Pro liefert Ubiquiti diese Halterung mittlerweile standardmäßig mit, sodass sich die Frage stellt, warum das früher nicht auch der Fall war, denn sie ist deutlich besser als die Plastik-Aufnahmen der alten APs. Beachten muss man nur, dass sie ohne Adapter nur für die größeren APs des Herstellers geeignet ist.

Fantastic piece of hardware! Super impressive manufacturing & design thought put into this. Seriously, stealth minds came together to design this & consider near ALL installation mounting possibilities. While ALSO labeling it so perfectly, that it's mindlessly simple & no issue to figure out. Works brilliantly & easily with the Ubiquiti UniFi AP AC Pro (UAP-AC-PRO) that it is intended for. HOWEVER, this should have come with this access point. Even if Ubiquiti has to charge more for everything considering, fine, bury it into the price charged for the overall unit. Bypassing the consumer an unexpected headache step of having to make a secondary surprise order. Granted Ubiquiti is predominantly a commercial company, so most of their mounting hardware focuses on drop ceiling mountings. Reverentially though, this bracket that I had to make a separate order for, is so much more common of a mounting plate. In home settings , 90% of the time, consumers are going tb be mounting to some form of standard line/low voltage box. Zero complaints all around though. Ubiqiuti makes amazing products, & this mounting bracket is honestly impressive in it's design. Ubiquiti, just throw it in with the access point purchase, charge us all $10 more to cover it, & then all bases are covered. Thanks!
