I’ve been loving my Hatch Restore 3 and all the options it offers for both winding down at night and waking up in the morning. One of my favorite features is the bedtime routine. The Unwind setting has become a nightly favorite. It’s so relaxing and really helps me slow down before bed. The biggest game changer for me has been waking up. I’ve always struggled with hitting snooze and sleeping through alarms, but the gradual sunrise light makes such a difference. Even if I snooze the alarm, the light stays on, and that’s what truly helps wake me up naturally. My mornings feel much less stressful and rushed. The alarm is very reliable and hasn’t failed on me. I’ve only had the alarm for about a week, but I’ve already fallen in love! Another great feature is the variety of light colors and brightnesses. I purchased this during prime day because I wanted to get better about my sleep hygiene. I struggle to stay asleep and thought this might be helpful. First, I love the putty color. It looks nice and doesn’t look like a traditional alarm clock. Second, I am really liking the reminder to turn off devices and get ready for bed. I need that que to put down the electronics and stop. Third, audio books being read are so entertaining yet soothing. I am loving listening to the classics that I would never normally read. I like that you can adjust the volume to what works best for you. Some of the audio books are louder than others. Finally, the Navy White Noise puts me to sleep. It is soothing and peaceful. I still wake up around 3 or 4am, but I am better able to fall back to sleep. For wake up, I am still getting used to the bright light and bird sounds. It is not jarring like an alarm, which I love. What I am struggling with is actually getting out of bed when I wake. I start scrolling and then an hour goes by. I need to be more disciplined. Overall I like the change this is making in my sleep routine.

Right now I'm really enjoying the "Blue Light Morning" alarm, but there are so many other options I'm excited to work through. I've also added a second light-only alarm using the "Villa" light that I use as a mood lamp while I'm getting ready. It creates such a nice atmosphere in the morning and is a small thing that's made the whole routine feel a little more enjoyable. On the wind-down side, I'm still working my way through all the "Unwind" options and have been loving the Sound Baths, Soundscapes, and Music selections. There's such a great variety that I can just pick whatever sounds right for my mood that night without overthinking it. My bedroom feels like a spa! I've been falling asleep to the water and rain sounds lately. There are actually several different options for the type and intensity of rain, which is a nice touch. I'm also looking forward to trying out the meditations, which I haven't gotten to yet. I like leaving the clock on permanently, so I'm not tempted to look at my phone if I wake up in the middle of the night, but you can also set it to display the time only when you tap it, if you get clock anxiety at night. Setting up the Restore and the app was pretty straightforward even without reading the directions. I'm still fine-tuning my favorite routines, but even the very first options I tried were great. Only a few days in and I'm already looking forward to both my morning and bedtime routines, which honestly says it all.

I've had the Hatch for almost a month now and it has definitely helped my sleep a lot! As someone who struggles a lot with falling asleep, I've tried a few different things that haven't worked, and the Hatch routines have already made a difference. It was very easy to customize the routine, and having the cue to help start the routine has really helped keep me on a better sleep schedule. I wish the box had come with more instructions as I've been figuring out a lot through the app & tiktok videos, but it has been quite easy to set up my custom routines once I got the hang of it. I love the amount of customizable features with the lights and sounds (as shown in the photo) and in addition to being functional, I love that it makes a cute addition to my nightstand :)

Very disappointing. The hardware is good but the app is unusable. There is a lot of potential in this product but they will only realise it when they throw out the current app and rebuild it with ease of use and flexibility in mind. Honestly this industry is begging for a competitor to come in and show us how this can be done well. Unfortunately Hatch is not that (yet? 🤞). I'd love to return my Hatch 3 and wait for that competitor, maybe they never come but this $200 disappointment is not bringing me any joy.

Beware! You have to use an adapter to plug in and power up in the UK. Really annoying! Given the cost of the item I’m amazed it didn’t come with the right plug or an adaptor. Sloppy.

Absolutely LOVE my hatch alarm. I don’t regret it one bit! My only con is that the app lags.
