Great
I’m extremely impressed with this drone. The setup is incredibly easy and it’s flying within seconds—no controller needed. The hands-free flight modes are awesome and make capturing videos effortless, especially for family trips, outdoor adventures, and quick clips. The video quality is clear and smooth, and the drone feels well built despite being lightweight and compact. I also love how portable it is—it fits easily in a bag and is perfect for travel. This drone delivers exactly what it promises and has been a lot of fun to use. Great product and well worth it!

A flying selfie camera for new vbloggers & recreational users
Product Review for Amazon- HoverAir x1 white. I am a new travel blogger and content creator. I am looking for a device that allows me to take drone-like images/videos, hand-free selfies, and fancy cinematic shots without using a DLSR Camera or a powerful lens. I wasn’t sure about owning a drone as it is expensive and requires learning time. So, I opted for HoverAir x1 as my entry-level - flying selfie camera/drone. I have been using it for more than a month. Here is my feedback. What I love about this product: It is small and light. It can fit into the pocket of my yoga pants, the side of my backpack, and even my Chanel handbag. The learning curve is not steep. You can get the concept after a few trials. I like that it has a Storage Management system to keep all the shots I took; it allows me to view them before downloading them to my phone. The Flight Mode fulfills most of my needs as a new travel blogger and digital content creator. There is Hover, which allows the device to hover while I am doing something like tying my shoelace, Zoom Out, which is great for establishing shots and also for group photos, Orbit, Bird’s Eye, Dolly, and more. They are enough to keep me busy and put together an excellent 30-second video on Instagram. What is just ok about this product Microphone … it is ok. I tried using my microphone … but it didn’t sound great. So I use voice over mic via 3rd party app to edit my footage. Aerial View … I was hoping it could capture more surface, but then I realized it could fly up to 50 feet high. Battery … It needs a recharge after about ten takes when I use the camera for both taking footage and viewing what I took. I could have taken more if I hadn’t viewed the shots I took. Because this camera is light, it doesn’t do so well on windy days. It doesn't have the sensor system like a typical drone, so you can fly this in less crowded places and when the area is clear from cables, branhes, bushes etc. What can be bothersome about this product `1. It is noisy and loud. Not too lound but loud enough when I am out at 5 am to take shots or in a quiet area. Despite my complaints, I’ve gotten used to this flying camera and love it. It is not a perfect drone-like camera, but it is perfect enough for me to get footage to put on social media. It is definitely not for professionals who need a robust drone camera, but it is suitable for beginners as well as DIY digital content creators who do not want to spend a dime on cameras and drones for their social posts. Should you get it? I say yes if you are happy to be a non-professional videographer like I am.

Hover X1 Review: Your Personal Flying Photographer
I purchased the Hover X1 drone recently and have been testing it out over the last week or so, and let me tell you, it's a game-changer for capturing those perfect moments from unique angles. Whether you're a seasoned tech enthusiast or a casual user, this drone delivers impressive results with a bit of practice. Pros: Stunning visuals: The Hover X1 produces remarkably sharp photos and videos. The clarity and detail are exceptional, especially considering the drone's compact size. Portability: The included bag is a lifesaver, making it super easy to take the drone wherever you go. Battery life: While not the longest on the market, the included dual batteries (if you opt for the bundle) provide a reasonable flight time for most casual uses. Seamless file transfer: Getting your footage onto your phone is a breeze, allowing for quick sharing and editing. User-friendly interface: The app and drone controls are intuitive and easy to grasp, especially for those with some tech experience. App Stability: Their iOS app seems to be pretty stable. I haven't had any issues with it so far. Cons: Learning curve: The setup and initial learning curve can be a bit steep for those who aren't tech-savvy. I recommend watching some of the helpful tutorials on YouTube before your first flight. Limited battery life: If you plan on extensive use, consider purchasing an additional battery to extend your flight time. Data transfer: Transferring files to a computer for editing can be a bit clunky, but there are online resources available to guide you through the process. Overall Impression: Despite a few minor hiccups, the Hover X1 is an incredible tool for capturing stunning aerial footage. It's like having your own personal flying photographer, always ready to capture the perfect shot. Tips & Tricks: Editing: I highly recommend CapCut (free or pro version) for editing your videos. It's easy to use and offers a wide range of features. Sound: If you want sound in your videos, be aware that the drone doesn't record audio. You'll need to use your phone's microphone, which can be a bit tricky. Final Verdict: If you're willing to invest a bit of time learning the ropes, the Hover X1 is well worth the investment. It's an amazing device that opens up a world of creative possibilities for capturing memories from new heights.

Hoverairx1
The HOVERAir X1 is a fantastic gadget if your primary goal is to capture yourself in motion — like walking, biking, vlogging — without having to micromanage a drone. Its strengths lie in ease of use, portability, and hands-free shooting. However, it’s not a “prosumer” drone. Don’t expect long flight time, advanced controls, or perfect shots in windy or complex environments. If you fly within its limits, it can be a fun and useful tool — especially for social media content.

Easy to use, straight out of box. E for everyone!
FIrst impressions - Upon opening the box, the sleek design and coloring gave me confidence in its quality. Drone kit came with an extra battery + battery charging station, which is fantastic, essentially ensuring non-stop flight time. The instructions were idiot-proof; I was able to get the drone up and running as soon as it was done charging. My first flight had a small issue because I was unable to contain my excitement like a kid on xmas morning, resulting in a battery pack not completely charged. When I ACTUALLY followed the instructions, this worked great. One battery pack will allow about 15 mins in flight time and as I mentioned earlier, the charging dock will charge a secondary battery within that time frame. Drone has multiple AI modes for different situations. I admit I was running the drone indoors (the instructions do recommend going outside) that created some limitations. Favorite modes: Orbit Mode - drone circles around you within a 5 ft radius. Follow Mode - self explantory, drone follows you around (this freaked my dog out lol) Birds-eye mode - this one requires a 16 ft empty space above. the video I uploaded is from this mode. and best for my last MANUAL MODE!!!! Once I figured out how to access the manual controls (through the app on your phone), this was incredibly easy to use. I have flown different drones in the past with controls that were clunky and difficult to use for beginners. The manual controls on this one are again idiot-proof for someone like me. Super manageable to learn which I greatly appreciated. (screenshot of the Manual controls in review) Editor's note: my cat tried to attack the drone in mid-air, beware the jumps on kitties! All in all, I think this is a great product, especially for older kids as well. It's overall utility is astounding - my friend was thinking about using it to take shots of certain hard-to-get-to areas of properties he manages. I highly recommend this product for anyone!

Amazing autonomous drone, sophisticated features, reliable performance
I've only had my HoverAir X1 drone for a few weeks, and haven't gone through all of its capabilities, but I'm very impressed so far. I've flown it in the following flight modes: Hover, Zoom Out, Orbit, Bird Eye, and Dolly Mode. Every mode worked flawlessly. I'm still learning, and it will take a while before I know everything about it. The app has a built-in tutorial, and I am also watching various YouTube videos to learn more about the drone's operation. I previously had a Snap Pixy drone but recently returned it due to a company recall. The HoverAir X1 has more features than the Pixy and seems to be easier to operate. The videos look good and transfer easily and quickly to my smart phone. I took one video with sound, using my phone as the microphone. The audio is clear, because the app filters out all the motor noise from the drone. The synchronization between audio and video was noticeably off, but I found out from the tutorial in the Hover X1 app that there is third party software that can correct the sync problem. I haven't had a chance to try the software sync fix yet, so I don't know how well that works. Overall, I really like this drone.

Fabulous Selfie Camera
Saw this on You Tube first and we ordered it to take with us to a Deep Creek trip. We have never owned a drone of any kind. It is simple to operate and takes excellent quality video or camera still shots as well! Unfortunately we couldn't use it much on our trip as it was rainy and the battery is not a fan of water or moisture so it recommended you not exposing it to that but we used it at home. Indoors and out as demonstrated in the videos. You simply download the recommended app to your phone have it up and running when you turn the drone on and program to whichever mode you prefer. Try them all literally without 0 experience we had it out of the box and filming in minutes!! We ordered an extra battery in addition to the two batteries that came with it as they only last about 10 min. each that way theres always one charged to go in drone. I'm still learning alot about the settings and how they can be manipulated on the app. but watch you tube videos to manage initially under HoverAir Self flying camera and you're all set. Can't wait for holiday photo sessions to transfer to projects and or printable form. For under $500 it's well worth it to us! Great family vacation camera or just around home without a selfie stick or props to follow you! PRETTY COOL!!! Also the customer service at zerozerorobotics was spot on after having a propeller issue and broke one they sent us a new one with video and tutorial to replace it and its now working just fine. We appreciate their timely communication in emailing back and forth with direction as to what to do step by step and its working just fine again. Thank you zero robotics for helping us get it back in the air. Now on to filming again!! Make sure your phone is on and volume up to pick up sound as we don't have a microphone separate for sound yet.

If you need a reliable and accurate cameraman that fits in your pocket this the drone for you!
I'm really just starting to work with this drone, but from what I've seen so far, this is an amazing piece of technology. I am so blown away by this little drone. It's really like having you're own personal cameraman and that cameraman can fly. Pros and cons: Pros: 1. It follows you dutifully and in pretty difficult terrain. It is pretty hard if not impossible to lose once it locks on to you. I am really shocked at how good its optical tracking is. It's better than my Mini 4 pro on tracking people. 2. It is easy to use and requires no controller. Most of its functions are just a matter of pushing buttons on the drone itself. 3. Its hard to crash and pretty unflappable if it does hit something. If it makes a hard impact it just rights itself and lands. I put it into some small branches and it just pushed through. I hit a wall and it just landed. Its probably possible to crash it but I've not been able to yet. If it does crash it weights next to nothing and has a lot of semi rigid cage surrounding it to cushion the blow. 4. Its compact. You can carry this thing easily and it folds and unfolds instantly. 5. The video quality in good light is surprisingly good for 2.7k @ 30fps. It can shoot 1080p @30 or @60fps but I've not really used it yet to test how good it is. It always seems to be perfectly in focus and perfectly exposed. Also the image stabilization gimbal is first rate, it is a very smooth shooter. 6. You can use your phone to control its functions and it can use your phone to record audio which it automatically noise cancels the drones sound. Its pretty incredible. Sure, that can be done in post but this is just so easy to use and very effective. If you want to shoot and upload stuff immediately, this can do it. 7. It can download all the videos and photos you shoot to your phone and its very quick and easy. Cons: 1. Battery life. The battery is small and light and it will give you anywhere from 10-20 minutes of flight time depending on how many demands you make in the way of movement. If its tracking you on a bike expect the low end of the scale, if it just hovering and tracking you, it will use less battery. The upside is you get 2 batteries with it, a very nice double charger and the small capacity mean they charge fast. I didn't time it but it seemed like about an hour to do the two batteries. The batteries are charged sequentially. 2. No 4k camera. That said, the camera is very good in descent light and starts to show some grain in low light but still not bad. 3. No removable SD card. It has 28gb of onboard storage if memory serves, which I've thus far come no where near using, but a removable card would be a nice touch. 4. No collision avoidance sensors. It is very good at following people, I used this in the woods that confounded my Mini 4 pro and was totally unflappable. It just sticks to you like glue and its so small it can really squeeze through tight spots. Granted the Mini 4 Pro is an all around great drone, super sophisticated, can do incredible things too, and its quite good at not running into things, but as far as being a close in robotic cameraman for shooting people, the Hover X1 is better. Turning corners in a house are probably its biggest struggle. That's where collision avoidance would be helpful. If it does hit a wall, it just lands itself so its not really a big deal. 5. No GPS positioning. All guidance is done via optical sensors. Whether its truly a con for the specific mission of this drone is debatable. It can operate in a building with ease as it doesn't need to connect to a satellite to be stable and follow your moves. It does need some light however to see you. If it cant see you, it just stops. 6. Range of operation. This drone is not going to fly more than whatever wifi range is. It is not intended to take high flying panoramic scenes. It is for shooting people relatively near the ground and it is very very good at it. If you need to fly far away this is not the drone for you. It does have very nice manual controls on the app with full flight control and gimbal control. It uses Wifi so while Ive not tested the limits of how far it can fly, it's going to be within Wifi range. That said, it doesn't require Wifi to do any of its major functions, only if you want to fly it manually. 7. Sound. Like any drone, its pretty loud and this thing whines like a giant swarm of mosquitoes. Of course it has the sound canceling so even though your talking in a what sounds like a banshee howl, your audio will come out pretty much pristine as long as you have your phone on you to use as a mic. Honestly, the cons are in some ways not really cons, its a purpose built drone that does what it was designed to do almost miraculously well. If you like to shoot selfies or need a robot camera man to do tracking shots for any film making endeavor , this thing is fantastic.

Awesome flying selfie camera
This is a narcissist's delight, like having a cameraman in your pocket. I am yet to defeat it in follow mode and having tried every mode I can honestly say this thing is awesome. It has managed to get good footage even on a windy day. The more advanced controls through the app are easy to use and increase the versatility of the camera. You will want the extra battery though.

Not a toy, perfect for vacations
I have multiple DJI drones but nowadays I seldom take it out when travelling due to all the complexities behind regulations and the bulk in the suitcase. The Hover solves these issues. The best drone to have is the one that's always with you and the Hover is so convenient use and carry around. The quality of the videos are surprisingly good as well. The only thing is the battery life is not fantastic and if you're out and about the whole day, I think even 2 batts not going to cut it. Hover, please make spare batteries available to but on Amazon for international shipping. Overall, a fantastic tool for casual use....

Un assez bon compromis
Un bon compromis : taille réduite, apprentissage simplifié. Mode manuel un peu poussif mais qui convient à bien dès débuts.

A must have, so easy to use and incredible quality!
I don’t often write reviews, but this is definitely an exception. This drone has to be one of my best purchases in a while. It’s so lightweight and compact that I can easily take it anywhere with me! As someone with no prior drone knowledge, I found it incredibly easy to use, and I love all the different modes. The video quality is absolutely fantastic, and I love how easy it is to transfer footage straight to my phone. This is definitely something I will use often. I didn’t realize how much I needed this until now,it’s perfect for all occasions!
