Lovely pillowcase, great pattern, washes nice just a little too big but not a problem. These work really well, have used this type before.

The best feature of this pillowcase is the zipper. Goodbye to the days of folding and tucking in pillowcase flaps only to have the pillow sneak out anyway. This pillowcase is indeed as silky smooth as advertised. The zipper has a small pull and is so neatly stitched into the pillowcase that you really have to look closely to realise that it is there. The zipper is the same colour as the pillow. The charcoal is really more of a dark grey colour but the glossiness makes it look like dark silver. The stitching is inside and the edges have been finished well. I found a couple of loose threads inside, but these were not actually attached to the pillowcase. It is a bit thin, but not as thin as others I have previously come across. Despite this, not much light comes through when you hold it up. I've got several satin pillowcases and this one easily fits right in among them. The pillowcase arrived folded up in a small box, so it had many creases when it was unpacked and unfolded. It would have been a good idea to roll it instead of folding it. It's a pity that they are sold in packs of 1. Even if they are "infused with silver ions", I think the current price (£20) is a bit steep for just a single pillow case. With a slightly thicker material I would not hesitate to pay £15. Nevertheless, it is a good quality pillow which won't fall apart at the first hurdle, and the zipper is definitely a good feature.

I ordered this pillowcase to help with my new regime of trying to improve the health of my hair, skin and general health whilst combatting the signs of ageing. I believe that I am having some success with supplements, creams and oils used but this pillow has shown the quickest results yet in improving my skin and hair. Before using it I woke up with hair that needed to be tamed and lines on my skin that took a while to disappear in the morning due to the way that I slept even though I keep trying to sleep on my back. This pillowcase is wonderful, and I am very happy with my purchase. The fabric is a high-quality satin with the spandex fibres added so that it does not rip easily and does not crease as much as ordinary satin fabric. The invisible zipper is lightweight so very suitable for the fine fabric that it is inserted in and mine has been expertly stitched so it is invisible apart from the fine pulley that you use to open and close the pillowcase. This method works better than the usual envelope method for me as it makes the pillowcase easier to iron without lines showing through and you can use both sides of the pillowcase as the right side as they are identical. The seams have been stitched with a shorter than average straight stitch to suit the fineness of the fabric and fine narrow overlocking finishes all raw edges so that they will not fray. The caramel colour is great and practical for me and suits the colour scheme for my bedroom. Definitely good value for money!

This may seem pricey for a standard UK size 50x75cm satin pillow case but the quality on offer here is in my opinion way superior to the cheaper versions that are everywhere. No coincidence that Silver Cloud is also the name of an iconic of Rolls Royce. Arriving stylishly boxed, this pillow case would be perfect for gifting. The box lists the plus points of the product, including the fact that it's infused with three per cent silver ions - with antibacterial properties. This pillowcase - which I chose in the Caramel shade - may help prevent spots and even fine lines but my main interest in it is that it helps to reduce frizz and tangles which I'm prone to as someone with long, thick hair. Some things I noticed right away when I unboxed this - its weight was decent and much less flimsy than any other satin pillow cases I've owned and it felt softer very comfortable to sleep on. It also feels cooling against the skin. And it features a concealed toning zip, which operates very smoothly. This means it stays well in place no matter how restless you may be. Easy care, this satin pillowcase is machine washable with a fabric composition of 97% polyester and 3% spandex. It really is a cut above - and I'm happy to recommend it.

This is a lovely feeling pillowcase :) I actually got a silk one from an advent calendar and Christmas and fell in love with them. They feel really luxurious to sleep on, and contrary to what I thought, my head doesn't slide all over the place at night :) This one feels beautiful to lie on, and who knows, hopefully it does good things for my hair and skin. I've certainly not noticed anything negative. I love the colour too, it's a beautiful rich silver shade. I guess I do think it's a little expensive maybe? I know these pillowcases always cost more money because of their benefits, but £20 is still pretty steep for this (it would be a fantastic price for two!) But I'm very happy with the quality and it has washed well so far.

I am reviewing this as a simple pillow case. I know silver does have anti-bacterial properties but I have no way to test these. I am not convinced about the 'May help with' claims though. The case is the right size for most pillows, I do have one pillow which is too big for it but that is a fault of the pillow not this. Unlike most pillow cases I have come across this has a zip closure to keep the pillow in which works as you would expect. The zip is quite thin though so how long it lasts is another question. The case is polyester so saliva and the like will not be absorbed in the same way as it would with cotton.

I love the rich colour and beautiful sheen on this pillowcase – it adds a touch of luxury to my bedroom decor. Plus, the fabric has a nice weight to it, so the cover doesn't feel too thin. It is also incredibly soft to the touch, which adds to the comfort. The stitching and seams are precise and tidy, and the zip is slim, soft, and discreet. However, I have noticed that the fabric wrinkles quite easily, which takes away from its appeal after a couple of nights' use. The special method of infusing the fabric with silver ions involves treating it with a solution containing these ions, which are absorbed into the fibres. They are designed to disrupt the metabolic processes of bacteria and other microbes, preventing them from growing and reproducing. This helps to keep the pillow cover clean and fresh for longer periods between washes. To maintain some of the fabric's antimicrobial properties after washing, it is important to follow the manufacturer's care instructions. However, I am unsure about how quickly the effectiveness of the antimicrobial properties might diminish over time with repeated washings, as I couldn't find any information about this. Overall, this pillowcase is great for maintaining a cleaner and more hygienic sleep environment, especially for those concerned about microbial growth and allergens.
