Easy little drone with beautiful video quality and stability. VERY beginner friendly
This little drone was more than I could have hoped for! Fully operational just off the app on my iPhone meaning I don't need to carry the bulky controller around for horseback trial rides which is incredible. It even has an app for my apple watch which I wasn't expecting but was delighted to find. No issues connecting even out in the rural woods. The app is also great for easy photo download directly to my phone. Seriously one of the most pain-free and user friendly tech integrations I've had the pleasure to use lately. For the price? Feels like a steal. Very simple take off and land right from my palm (even on horseback) and incredibly easy to get started and operate without having any prior drone flying experience. The video quality was really good with shocking stability both in motion and when hovering in place I was shocked at how perfectly still everything looked. Really smooth transitions and auto flight patterns. It's loud (to be expected) but not obnoxiously so. Shipping was super fast, brand new fully sealed and exactly what I expected. Came with all the charging cables I could want.

Awesome drone!
Absolutely awesome performance. It took us a while to get it hooked up to the phone but then it was so much fun. Buy it and hang in there if it resists connecting. It will be worth it!

Been enjoying the drone just wish I would’ve waited a little bit longer for sale they just had
So far I’ve been really pleased with this drone it’s overall flexibility has been really impressive and provided some good times for me and it’s battery life expectancies have been pretty close to the quoted 30 mins they quote on the listing as long as I fly it in normal gear speed, at the sport mode level it lasts maybe 7-10 mins less which is understandable. It’s been very impressive on its responsiveness to turning and stopping and accelerating. Luckily I haven’t tested out its durability by crashing it but it seems rather durable and sturdy. And connects really seamlessly to my phone if I choose to fly it with that including the controller. I seem to get it in flight by the the time the battery is still at 98% when it starts out at 100 but takes a little bit to get online with the satellites and controller. Flying it without using a controller and launching it from my palm were both big time deciding factors when it came to deciding which one to go with and its size being under 249 grams was a big advantage as well avoiding any regulations of flying with a heavier one

Cinematic Camera Drone
Great Cinematic Camera Drone... DJI04 is great... Drone doesn't take crashes well. My only complaint with it...✌️

Do not recommend protection plan from Asurion.
I ordered a gift for my husband and unfortunately after half a year it stopped charging, I am very disappointed because I even bought a protection plan, but they did not help me solve the problem. very disappointed from service from Asurion. I called them many times and every times they told me different information!!!

Fun starter drone with a great camera!
What a fun little drone! It's super portable and quick to launch, and the camera is actually great on it. I use this for quick shots in a lot of places where it would be more difficult/conspicuous to launch my bigger Air 3S, such as when I'm out disc golfing or hiking... or if I'm just out and about and see an amazing sunset. Works great with an RC 2 controller, but it's also fun to use with just your phone/voice commands too. (Just be aware that it has some limitations in those modes -- e.g. no 4K/60fps, and no control of shutter speed/ISO.) One small gripe is that it only has front obstacle avoidance... so you must be extra careful if flying backwards or sideways, and/or you're in one of the auto-modes that involves flying backwards or sideways. Despite this, I think this would still make a great first drone for someone. IMO this (camera) drone is probably the best bang for the buck right now, if decent video/image quality is important and your budget is limited. (The Neo's camera is just nowhere near as good, and other options cost way more.)

Great drone for beginners
I’ve been really happy with the DJI Flip so far. It’s surprisingly stable in the air and handled 15 mph wind gusts on my first flight better than I expected for a small drone. The camera quality is excellent. Photos and videos come out sharp and smooth, and the stabilization works great. Build quality also feels solid and well made. Nothing about it feels cheap. It’s also very easy to learn and fly, even if you’re new to drones. The app and controls are straightforward, and I was comfortable flying it pretty quickly. Overall it’s a great drone if you want something portable, capable, and beginner friendly.

2nd time's a charm....
The first order of this I ended up receiving a totally different model drone. Though it was a nice drone, it was a much cheaper model. However, after returning it, and ordering again, I got the correct drone. I got this as a quick "take-along" drone. It folds up relatively small. A few of the features that drew me to this particular model is the camera quality and the blades are already enclosed. This allows me to get closer in the trees and not worry about the occasional bump with a small branch. Its also much "safer" when flying around people. Only downside to that is that because of the smaller props, it will tend to get pushed around in the wind. Range seems good, though to be honest, I haven't pushed it to it's stated max range.... yet. Definitely recommend for those starting out or anyone looking for a basic, simple, and easy to use drone system.

I love the DJI Flip!
This is the first new drone I've purchased in a while. I've been using my Phantom 3 and Phantom 4 for many years, and I've had so many great times filming with them, but there's always been a few things that bugged me, barriers to flying I guess you could say. The Flip has solved some of those issues for me. Starting with it's size, the Flip can fit in the front pocket of my jumper, or easily into a backpack. It makes getting it around so much easier. No more having to take the big case in the car. Setting up is super easy too. Just flip it open and it's automatically on. I can take off without a remote if I want, and it'll just follow me around. Quite different from the phantoms, adding props, finding a flat take off and landing space, setting up the remote, setting up the phone to connect to the remote... Weight class - With the flip only being 249 grams, it relaxes some of the rules around where I can and can't fly. With the Phantom, if I track my self on the bike, and cross paths with someone, I'm supposed to bring the drone down, or keep it 50m away from them. With the flip, I can just leave it doing it's thing. It comes under the same weight category as a toy, but isn't technically classed as a toy because of it's camera. Speaking of camera, this thing really puts out some amazing video for its size. One of the fall backs of the DJI Neo, and ultimately the reason I didn't get one of those was because the video is quite a step back. The Phantom 3 is over 10 years old at this point, but even it makes the Neo footage look rough. That wasn't going to work for me, I needed something on par, and the Flip does that. There are ND filters and other kinds of attachable lenses for the Flip, and these can help take the footage up a notch. Flight time is superb as well. I usually stop my flights at around 25 - 30% battery, and that means I get about 20 minutes per charge, give or take. Of course, you'll get more if you want to use that last bit of the battery. I'd recommend getting extra batteries and stopping sooner, your batteries will thank you for it and they will live longer. Stability in the wind is good here, but it's not invincible. I had it out in some 19mph winds, with gusts being a little higher, and it handled itself. The body was sitting at a near 45 degree angle fighting the wind, but it was doing it, and the footage still looked stable. I don't normally fly in windy conditions, but I did test my drones when I first got them, and did the same here because I wanted to get a physical feel for what it can and can't manage. The range is just what I need. I don't push the limits of what is advertised on this, but I do take note of the signal strength and video feed stability when I'm sending it far out. I've gone to 1.5 miles in line of sight and had no issues with the connection. I think that's about as far as I'd brave it, but I think it could do a good bit more. One thing worth noting is that when connecting using only a phone, the range is fairly limited. This is due to it being powered by Wifi. The Automated flight modes are great. I enjoy the follow me mode. It's reliable, and also safest due to the drone being able to stop when there's an obstacle. It'll follow your path and keep you in view. There's other modes light dronie, spotlight, and more. There's a custom mode that can be changed in the app, and this is where direction track is found. Direction track is the coolest mode I think. It works in the same way as the follow mode, but instead of being behind the user, it stays in the direction it started in. If it starts in front of you, it tries to stay there, if it starts beside you, it'll try and stay there. It can be a little unpredictable sometimes though, so I'd recommend this one be used in an open space. I think the DJI Flip offers the best balance of features of all the DJI drones. It has the simplicity of the Neo, fast and fun, the autonomy of a blogging drone, a great camera, and a long range remote control. If you're looking to step into the world of drones for the first time, I think this is the drone you should go for.

楽しいドローンです
いろいろな機能があり面白いです。わんちゃんのお散歩の様子を後ろからついてきて撮影するなど、楽しく使えます。 機体の大きさの割には風切り音が大きいと感じます。

Drone for beginners
One on my wish list from the longest time. Finally bought it and it's amazing. Although, the fans make a noise compared to other drones, but great stability. I'm not a drone pro pilot yet so can't say anything much but for a beginner it's a nice buy.
