It will Lock You Out
Do Not Buy this item. It locked up on me and I could not get it off at the gas station. It's a good thing I had enough gas to get home and Pry it off. It must be a cheap knockoff and lasted less than 4 months. Buyer Beware.

Perfect safety addition for the car, no stolen gas
Great gas cap for my Avalon. Fits perfect. Locks perfectly. You do have to leave the key in to remove it or put it on. However really not a big deal. I have a key on my keychain and one in my console on the car. So honestly I just take the one from my console, unlock and lock when I am done and put key back. Really not that hard. It’s a great value for my peace of mind. Also it functions exactly as it should, isn’t defective and no engine light, this is a go to if you work with someone who has said they put sugar in someone’s gas tank for retaliation on them. No thank you!! Keep them psycho’s out of from stealing gas.

Fits 2024 4Runner TRD Off Road Premium
Installed on my 2024 4Runner. Threads on cap will need to be broken in out of the box. But after a couple of weeks of use it works perfectly and had no lights come on my dashboard. Would definitely recommend and buy again.

DO NOT BUY!!! Cheaply made.
It locked and did not open after the first time using it. If I could give it a cero I certainly would would. I had to brake it to fill my tank. Horrible! In addition to that, there is no answer from Amazon or the seller for a refund. Do not buy!

So far so good, no check engine light on my 23 Taco. What's funny is, the direction are printed on the cap. But I'm pretty sure they're wrong. They say to turn the key 1/4 turn counterclockwise to unlock. I tried that about 20 times and I wrestled with it for about 10 minutes until I turned the key clockwise 1/4 turn and Eureka success. Other than that it works pretty good and check engine light has not come on. In case you were wondering. If a gas cap doesn't fit right it will cause the check engine light to come on.
