I was skeptical about this one at first. My cats got tested positive for geridea a few weeks prior, and i used this test the day before our return vet visit for further testing. This test showed negative, and so did the vet results.. the test from the vet cost $80. The tests from my doctor cost about $150 per person (recommended from the vet). I will use this test going forward.

It's easy to use BUT the instructions are so tiny that we had to use a magnifying glass to read them.

I have extensive experience in clinical lab tests. I bought this based on what the seller says is 99.9% accuracy as a screen for h pylori. This test does not meet FDA standards, and I don't know how they can sell in interstate commerce. I tested positive on two different samples taken a week apart. I contacted my Gastro who ordered a stool and breath test from a local lab. Both tests came back negative. Given I had two positive and two negative tests, I had to undergo an upper endoscopy and biopsy. No presence of h pylori was found. In conclusion, the test is junk and not 99.9% accurate.

To know for sure if you have the H Pylori, you need a blood test or a sample of the lining of the stomach. But if those aren’t available, these tests are another option that may give you positive results. I know that I do not have the Helicobacter Pylori bacteria as I have had the stomach lining test via an endoscopy. My husband’s cousin does have the bacteria and has tested positive via an endoscopy and has problems as a result of being positive. I used this kit and tested negative. I had my husband’s cousin tested, and it tested negative. The second test tested positive. There are 3 tests in the box, and they expire in 2027. So I would use caution using this test to determine if you think you have H. Pylori.

Very good test kit. Easy to follow the instructions and almostly like COVID test kit. And the results are reliable and accurate. Used 2, negative and will keep another one for next time when I have a suspection. Save my money and time to go to the clinic. Very value for money.

Overall, I'm happy with Vivometra's H. Pylori Antigen Rapid Tests. (And I'm even happier that my test came out negative! Phew.) You do have to provide your own fecal collection container, but apart from the grossness of collecting the sample, the testing process is easy. My only dissatisfaction is that there is no expiration date printed on the outer package, though the sealed packets inside the box have one. The tests I was sent expire on Dec 26, 2026, so almost 2 years from the date of this review.
