Took a little fanagling but it eventually worked out. Great bit of hardware for your Mini-ITX build. Fit this into the KKSB K1 case from Kickstarter Years ago. It's like 7L of room. Very compact, and this motherboard had all the bells and whistles I wanted for the full PCIe 5 Go around. PCIe Riser Cable is even 5. This Motherboard is smooth, and thee ASUS BIOS has always been user-friendly in my mind compared to some others I've used in the past. Grab one now!

Motherboard is great so far has all the features that you would need for a modern motherboard in 2026 only downside is it holds two stick of ram but my PC build is strictly for gaming. You can get two 128 gb DDR5 if you really need it lol

Booted on the first attempt and going on and strong. Never had to fiddle with anything. Transferring drive with windows 11 from my older x570 rig was a bit of a hassle. But that’s part of DIY PC hobby. Tons of usb ports(8nos), great quality aluminum heat sinks for the VRMs and onboard connectivity options, PCIe 5.0 X16 slot and M.2, wifi7. This thing is future proof till 2030. At $300 it’s the cheapest I’ve seen this board go on sale. I think it’s a steal in this economy. Highly recommended.

This board can't recognize the Samsung 990 Pro as a bootable device, despite recognizing it as a storage device. Tried every solution I can find on the internet (disabling csm, set speed to Gen4, updated to latest motherboard firmware/bios). Nothing worked.

Works fine so far, I've trusted Asus for a long time and have yet to be let down. I first considered the Asrock lightning ITX board but since this build will be getting a 9800X3D soon, I figured I shouldn't go down that path, and a lot of the other MSI or Gigabyte options had weird connectors and daughterboards that I just didn't want to mess with. However, I had an issue with this board came up during initial OS setup. Windows 11's default drivers don't work with the wireless on this board (expected), but also don't work with the built in ethernet (unexpected). If you're building an ITX system it likely isn't your only computer so its not the end of the world, but it added a step of complication to an otherwise painless build process to download drivers to external storage and transfer them over. For the price, I feel like Asus could have included a thumb drive with the necessary drivers. One other area of note is the PCIE latching snafu this board has with the Q release system. Since my case uses a riser cable I'm not super worried, but be warned the shoddy design can damage your GPU. Other than that, very nice board and for anyone considering it, a 990 Pro w/ heatsink fits perfectly fine in the backside M.2 slot.

I want to really like this system, but some of their choices just make no sense and cause issues. Performance wise it does well and is what you expect for a B850 chipset. Where this design fails is when it comes to the little things that become a big problem. The "on board" audio is just a USB audio, and it is just really not good. I use an external DAC and even with that, it is just bad. So bad, I actually plugged in a USB SPDIF, and it worked better. The WIFI is horrible, as is the BT. Luckily I have LAN as it was bad. Again, even plugging in a cheap USB wifi was better. Then you have the design flaws with both the pcie gpu slot and the nvme slot. Both of which can cause damage if you don't read their special instructions. Honestly wishing I would have went with the Gigabyte at this point.

Amazing without this i wouldn't have found out I won the silicone lottery a golden cpu ryzen 7 7800x3d runs at 80 degrees with aio. Value for money build quality manual

Ich kann es bis jetzt empfehlen ein tolles Board - AM 5 Socket PCI .5 und WiFi 7 und für 2 M.2 Festplatten , ausser USB 4.0 . Ich habe mich für dieses aktuelle Mini-ITX Board entschieden statt ATX Board. Das einzige was mir aufgefallen ist ,das Bluetooth nur mit eingesteckter Antenne funktioniert, sonst lief alles Super und einwandfrei beim einrichten. Wenn es jetzt noch genausolange wie mein letztes hält ist es das Geld vielleicht dann auch Wert.

Awesome mobo and works flawlessly. Glad it wasn’t tampered with like a lot of computer parts on Amazon.

Runs 9000 series right out of the box, has great customization features in the bios, and it looks great.
