I use this for on my face every 2-3 days. In between I use my regular gentle cleanser. And my hyperpigmentation has been going quickly. I massage it into my skin while washing for 1-2 minutes. Rinse off and moisturise. In the morning I use SPF 50 (important). It does tingle on my skin but it doesn’t burn or irritate at all and it is very DRYING hence 4 stars instead of 5 and also why I do NOT use this everyday. But it works really well for hyperpigmentation and smells lovely so I do recommend this. Just take all precautions you’d use with regular skincare products. I have dry skin and mild eczema so for anyone with dry skin like me, do keep in mind to use a good moisturiser afterwards otherwise your skin will not be happy. On the body it is fine. Takes longer than the face to see results but less tingling etc and it does work! I used it to lighten my stomach as it used to be darker than the rest of my body.

Kojie San soap came with 3 in a box. As you can see from the pictures I've already taken 2 out in the weeks since I've bought it. The good thing about this soap is that it foams very well, and a little can go a long way if you can manage it. However, this might be a little difficult as it desolves pretty fast. The slightest water on it causes it to disintegrate. Another good thing is the smell. It smells really good. However, it claims to make a difference to your skin in 7 days. I have been using it for more than 7 days and I haven't seen any difference in my skin. It also dries your skin out and you need a good moisturizing cream after using the soap. My skin felt paper dry and uncomfortable if I don't use a cream fast enough after bathing. With continuous use, I guess I will see it work on my skin, but its claim of working in 7 days seems a bit far fetched

Good results in two weeks

Used all 3 bars on my face. Everyday. Did not make any difference. You can feel it burn after 2 minutes but no lightening effect.

It took a while, but it is fading hyperpigmentation on my legs. For around 1 year, I had scars on my leg from mosquito bites, which left dark marks and barely faded. Since then, I started using this Kojie San soap, and my hyperpigmentation has been improving. A lot of my scars have gone and a really dark scar on my leg is continuing to fade away. Before using this product I was covered in dark marks but this has really helped me a lot. I also like the fact that this is in the form of a solid bar, as it makes it easier to take with me on holiday. It has a gentle orange scent which is pleasant. I knocked a star off for style and value for money, because the soaps can sometimes be inefficient to use. I accidentally use too much product at once as the soap is soft and rubs off easily. However, I buy 3 x 65g every 6 months, so I still rate the value for money quite highly. I don't recommend it for the face especially if you have sensitive skin, because it can be quite harsh and can contribute to chemical burns if you follow the soap with even just another slightly harsh product. But if you have hyperpigmentation on you body, you should try this product.

Excellent soap for tan

This is the good one I used in HS, to get rid of my dark circles, hyperpigmentation, acanthosis nigricans, pimples/boils from the IR, bumps from skin chaffing. I used it religiously from ages 16-19 and it worked like a charm to give me the clearest skin ever. After moving overseas to France (from the USA), a couple of years in I decided to use a skin care routine. It worked for a year, until it was no good at getting rid of the stubborn hyperpigmentation that wrecked the appearance of my visage and body. It was a skin care routine suited for more Caucasian/European skin types, while Kojie san works quite well for Asian and African skin, so it didn't have much effectiveness after a while. I will update my review after several months of use; but I have high expectations as this is exactly the one that rescued my skin a decade ago.
