Bausch & Lomb Sensitive Eyes Plus, 12 Fl oz, Twin Pack (Pack of 8)

Just about every eye doctor I've been to has on-hand and pushes Opti-Free Replenish Multi-purpose Disinfecting Solution. There is NO way that they can say that stuff is even close to being a saline, as it burns your eyes! I have told many an optometrist that the two are different, but they don't agree. I asked them if they've actually used it but they say "no." Then how can they disagree? Have you ever noticed that 99% of eye doctors wear glasses anyway? Then how are they suppose to know what the difference is between saline and a disinfectant? I've been using B & L Sensitive Eyes Plus Saline for as long as I can remember and I won't touch anything else! I carry around a small Visine bottle filled with the B & L saline so I don't have to worry about my eyes drying out. Trust me, if you use a disinfectant as a saline, you're eyes WILL burn! B & L Sensitive Eyes Plus Saline is a great product.

I have Keratoconus and wear a hybrid lens (rgp in the center with a skirt on the outside) and also have a lot of allergies. I have a difficult time with the Opti-Free Replenish Multip-purpose Disinfecting Solution, 10-Ounce Bottles (Pack of 2) stinging my eyes because of a sensitivity. The Replenish is an all-in-one good solution but I can't take it on it's own so I need the sensitive eyes to clean that solution off my contacts and also to put in them before wear. No complaints. Good value and great for eyes like mine.

This is a lot of saline but for the price it is a good deal. I use this to soak my lens during the day when I remove them to give my eyes a break. This is not a cleaning solution. I wear "hybrid" lens's which call for the "Clear Care" solution. This is perfect for rinsing them in the morning prior to use and for reinserting them during the day.

I have used Bausch & Lomb Sensitive Eyes Saline since I started wearing contact lenses 20 years ago. I used to use the aerosol can version, but started using the squeeze bottle version when the cans were discontinued. I have tried the cheaper store brands, but this just feels so much better in my eyes. I'm not willing to risk my eyes to save a few bucks, so the Bausch & Lomb brand is my preferred choice. I have purchased these on Amazon through the Subscribe & Save program, but I have found that my local Target has a better per bottle price for their double packs these days, so make sure to shop around. Either way, this is the best Saline on the market as far as I'm concerned.

First let me say the solution itself is a very good pruduct. Having said that, the companies description of quantity is VERY misleading. Purchased the B&L sensitive eyes 2 count 12oz bottle packs (pack of 4), that would indicate 8 bottles dont you think? Making the end price be three bucks a bottle? NOPE. 4 bottles. And for the price they charge, that makes EACH bottle cost almost THREE TIMES more than Wal-Mart charges for each bottle. 6 each versus 2 and change. Will never buy from this seller again. *EDIT* Recieved the other 4 bottles today, out of the blue. Inside the package was a note on the packing sheet apologizing for the slip-up. With the other 4 bottles brings the overall price back into the reasonable range. I must say I am impressed with the quick attention to service, it is much appreciated. Thanks, Harry!
