Excellent choice for gardening, walking the dog and grocery shopping.
This is my first bone conduction heatphones. It's quite a unique headphone solution. First off, it isn't anything magical; you can hear the sound coming from the headphones if you hold the unit up to your ears, so it's not silent until you touch it to your head-bone (jaw or skull or whatever that bone is just in front of your ears), it's a speaker playing music. That said, once it's place on your head properly, it does conduct the music directly into your ears and it sounds just as good as earbuds or a regular headphone. For me, after 6 months, the best part about having this type of headphone is that you can also hear what's going on around you. So if you're not in a super noisy environment, this works perfectly well and it allows you to hear for someone calling you, or a distant phone ringing or just someone running up behind you. There are three buttons; Up, Down and a multi-function button. The volume Up and Down work great. I use the middle button to turn it On or Off, to pause music and answer the phone. All other functions it may have I've never used. I've also never read any instructions either. To turn it on, you press and hold the middle button. It cracks me up to hear a female voice tell me in obviously translated english, that the "unit" is On or the unit is Off, but the best phrase is when she says that the battery is low. I think they forgot to translate that one into english. I found that amusing and it makes me smile every time. Note that the batter does last quite a long time. I've used it for several hours multiple days in a row without it quiting on me. The bluetooth range for me has been ~40 feet with a wall between. I've worn it while gardening and found it comfortable with just a trace of sweat where the headphone rests on my skin. All in all, an excellent choice for gardening, walking the dog and grocery shopping.

Third set - best in range, audio, and sturdiness; least favorite in fit
**UPDATE**The device has lasted 2 months, and is now starting to fail. It lights up like it is charging and within 10 seconds tells me it’s fully charged. However it is not charged. It keeps the same amount of minimal charge, and dies within 5 min of use. All my devices before will be completely out of commission after a few weeks.** Original Review **This is my third set of open ear/bone conduction sets I’ve tried and by far my favorite. It has lasted the longest (6 weeks), has the best battery life (three days of play), withstands the sauna longer than my phone (hhhhwwhat?!), and can pickup the blue tooth from my phone the best, (better than some of my other normal earbuds) and is easy to operate.I’m sad to rate it four stars because the fit - I just don’t like it as much as my other sets. It doesn’t fall off, but it’s super loose (comparatively speaking). It’s also a bit heavier so it rides my ears a little more than the others. I can still work out with it - run, jump, and climb without an issue, but I do have to turn it up a bit, or wear a headband to get a firmer contact in order to hear the sound. It does come with some sort of rubber device that you can use to tighten the band… but it wasn’t listed on the instructions/user manual.I am super pleased I don’t have to charge it every night, and I can wear it in the sauna after a workout. One of the previous sets which were truly water proof only lasted a few weeks before the charger stopped working (unless you twisted the headset just so), and stopped working completely after two months; and the second set wasn’t water proof and could not hold a charge after a month. The quality of the sound is amazeballs, and I can hear the background conversations …. I am also impressed with the mic function - which is more than some of the other headsets I have had. This headset also doesn’t have the tickling sensation at the higher volume settings. Definite improvement from the first one I had. This device also has my favorite operational buttons - three in a row distinctly separate (vol up/power/vol down). Fun fact: I am terrible at the buds/devices with one button that you have to tap, or hold, or double tap, or hold for five to do different things…. Sometimes I miss the contact surface, so I’m having to tap more times or over tapping the device. I have accidentally hung up on someone or skipped to the next song/chapter when I was trying to change the volume. So yay for ease of operations!

Great for biking and hearing ambient sounds
This bone conducting headset was easy to set up and start using. First, I located the USB port and charged the headset. Second, I powered on the headset by pressing the center orange button for 3 seconds. Third, I went to the Bluetooth setting on my phone to pair the device, MRTKY-31, I believe it said. Fourth, I played music from a phone app.It took only a few minutes from powering on to pairing. The sound quality is better than my wireless earbuds. It also has a more modern charging cable than my earbuds. What I like best is the ability to wear these while biking or even leaning forward during workouts for pushups or planks without losing them. Separate earbuds invariably fall out--not this set. It wraps over both ears and fits close to the skull. The white and orange make the visibility quite easy. They stand out on dark surfaces, making this hard to lose.I don't yet know how long it holds a charge. If it's at least 120 minutes, I'm all set!

Surprisingly great sound, versatile use — even my mom loves them
This isn’t my first rodeo with bone conduction headsets — I use them regularly. Unfortunately, most of the ones I’ve bought in the past barely lasted six months. So this time, I did a little more homework, looking for something budget-friendly but more durable. I chose this MRYTKY set based on that criteria, and the no-hassle replacement promise sealed the deal in case anything went wrong.Right out of the box, I was pleasantly surprised by the sound quality. Most bone conduction headsets I’ve owned sound like a tin can on a string — but these actually deliver full, rich audio that’s a noticeable step up.Another unexpected bonus: I ended up buying a second pair for my 80-year-old mom, who has age-related hearing loss. We paired them with a hearing-assistance app on her phone, and it actually works really well. Yes, it’s bulkier than traditional hearing aids, but she can hear phone calls and media much more clearly with this than with standard Bluetooth headsets — and she actually likes using them. And as if that weren’t enough — I’m currently traveling and forgot my usual headset I use for blogging and vlogging. I started using these as a backup, and they’ve held up surprisingly well for audio recording and content creation. The only small gripe is that my phone and laptop sometimes fight over Bluetooth control, but that’s manageable. It’s only been a couple of months, but so far so good. Fingers crossed they outlast the others I’ve owned. If they do, I’ll absolutely be buying another set when the time comes.
