Rock Band 3 Wireless Mustang Pro Guitar- Red (Wii)

Firstly as an interface for Rock Band this responds faster than I can play- so killer solos are possible and real guitar playing skills can be developed. Secondly as a MIDI controller you can plug it into the MIDI IN port on say a keyboard and play guitar for a fraction of the cost of a dedicated guitar controller. The only downside is that a few more frets would have made it even more versatile, but the octave shifting button does let you go higher (for budding Van Halens) and lower to let it act as a bass.

This came brand new unopened which is great considering how old this stock must be. Wii version Works perfectly on ps3 via midi. Couldn't be happier!

Excellent bit of kit

Midi guitars have never come cheaper. After seeing the designs by Starrlabs i had to try this budget version. It is a surprisingly capable instrument, i just wish there was a bass equivalent. For the price its a great way to experiment on this level with the technology. Recommended. Incidentally i also have the Yourock and would rate this above that instrument for the simple reason that the fret offers more feedback for the novice. Believe it or not fret buttons is more natural to play than the membrane strings of the Yourock.

This is SUCH an amazing piece of gameware! I wish I could use it properly...but due to 2 broken arms, I do have a hard time using it to it's full potential. My daughter has given herself proper guitar playing finger blisters with it a few times though haha How i wish this was around when I was a kid though, just wow!!

Have never played guitar, so got this as I enjoy the Rock Band games and I thought it would be fun and rewarding to learn how to actually play. I really enjoy playing it. It's difficult, but it should be, and you do improve quickly if you stick with it. It's a real shame that this was the final Rock Band game so that there aren't more songs to play on it. The downloadable songs increase the setlist, but these are a bit pricey and they don't seem to ever get reduced. But the Pro Guitar is a bargain price now and well worth it for playing the songs on RB3.

I have been practising for a couple of weeks now and still haven't mastered all the songs on easy so considering I play expert on other instruments that should give you an idea of how difficult this is. It is great fun though!
