Very protective and elegant.
We are using these on bedside tables to protect the wood from water glasses or other liquids. They are elegant and sturdy.

they are easy to wipe down
Very elegant! The color is actually darker. Although every smudge shows, they are easy to wipe down. I'm very pleased with my purchase and I even ordered extras. These are excellent quality and hard to find in other websites.

Very disappointed
I've had various Pimpernel placemats over the years. These "Made in China" ones are the absolute worst. After only four months of use by my husband and me, they are showing white marks everywhere and bubbling. Quality is quite inferior. I do not soak them in water, just a quick wipe after meals.

Elegant Placement Mats
I love love love these pimpernel table placemat mats:) They have a very durable, heavy, thickness modern beautiful look and it’s easy to clean but would not recommend wetting them under water but with a light somewhat damp cloth. 4 of them came in my order but I only need to use two for me and my husband so I won’t have to pull out the other two for a while. This is so worth the money and I will recommend this buy to anyone who wants the rich modern look. So many compliments I just had to tell them where I got them from. I chose the royal blue because it matches perfect with my royal blue velvet chaise sofa.

Rip & scratch easily
These look nice, but are not worth the price - they do not hold up. They clean easily but could rip & scratch as well during the cleaning process

Perfect placemats
I have several Pimperal placemats and all are quality products. I purchased these placemats because they were very neutral in color and could be used a lot.

Sturdy Place Mats
Love these place mats. I would have given them a 5 star rating but some of the corners were coming up when I took them out of the box. A little bit of hobby gule fixed it right up. Otherwise the mats are fine. They compliment our wood table and protect the surface with a cork backing. Keep in mind these mats are not your typical floppy place mats but are ridged board like mats which is why we love them. They are easy to clean and will last a long time.
