Color Block Softside Expandable Luggage with Spinner Wheels, Green, Checked-Large 27 Inch

We've recently decided it’s time to try traveling light, so I got this United Colors of Benetton Color Block Softside Expandable Luggage (19", Navy) for my husband. This little carry-on has been a total game-changer for him. It’s compact yet surprisingly spacious with its expandable design, glides smoothly on spinner wheels, and the bold color block style makes it easy to spot. Perfect for short getaways or minimalist packing—it handled both our Cape and NYC weekends effortlessly. It’s even small enough to qualify as a carry-on for flights within Europe, though I’m not quite sure we’re ready to travel that minimally just yet!

The bag held up well with multiple trips in the back of a pickup or van and multiple air travels. The pretty green color made the bag easy to identify. It held much more than I thought it could (45 lbs). I would buy it again!

I like size and color. Wheels roll nicely. Noticed more challenging to roll on carpet surface but rolls. I used it once for a car trip. I'm a little concerned about using it for a plane trip when others need to handle the bag. There is a black support on the bottom that concerns me. It looks like some could get caught on it and it may come off. It's a basic bag but it works. The color accents help it to stand out yet keeps it black. It matches my rolling backpack which was another reason it was great for me. I decided to keep the box insert in the bag it shipped with. I was a little concerned about structure without it. I was in a hurry so didn't have time to test it without the box insert.

This suitcase is exactly as light as I had hoped, appears to be well constructed and sturdy, and easy to roll..looking forward to using it for next adventure!

Only After 2 trips the green luggage looks dirty old and tattered. The edge around the bags are frayed exposing the metal frame fabric is faded . Top handle bent frayed and filthy. I tried washing the luggage but the dirt won’t come out. The bags are easy to maneuver and locks are easy to use. But the fabric did not hold up to minimum use

This seems a little smaller than your average 24”. It’s supposed to be 23 inch, but I think it’s just different dimensions. It’s wider than it is tall so it doesn’t tilt over when it’s full, and doesn’t get top heavy. There’s plenty of room inside with a different type of strap that works well. The only thing I didn’t like, which is why I gave it a four, is the front pocket is hard to use. you can put things in the bottom of it for sure, but putting things in the top of the pocket are a little weird because they just fall down to the bottom. I would like it much more if it had a top and bottom pocket in the front. It rolls very well and hasn’t tipped over on the other taller suitcases. Important aspect to me is that I can actually lift it when fully packed.
