Five star computer, 1 star packaging for safe shipment
The computer is top notch however when shipped, there was zero packing material inside the case as is require and shown in the unpacking info sheet. As a result the video card, ram chips and two fans were disconnected and floating around inside the case. The back bar the gives weight support to the video card was broken at the top and bottom connectors. The back of case plate for the video card was knocked out entirely. I had to spend 2 hours reassembling the thing and jury rigged the weight support until I can get a replacement bracket. Honestly I’ve never seen this much damage from shipping before and all that was required to prevent all of this was proper packing. I don’t know if this is amazons fail or Corsair’s but suspect the Corsair as it was interior packaging that was missing. I’m putting in a call to them Monday. Everything works but my concern is possible failure down the road due to this mess.

Complicated
So this has been an interesting but ultimately awesome purchase. When the pc initially arrived I immediately had a major problem. I inspected the inside of the case and everything appeared fine. So I powered it up and noticed that my case fans and cooler did not power on. I inspected things and at first could not figure out the problem. This was my first pc built entirely from Corsair parts and was not familiar with the icue control box. Well if you run into this issue just know that most everything in your new pc is controlled by one tiny box in the back of the case. It appeared plugged in but after closer inspection the power cable was not fully attached causing this problem. After plugging it back in the system booted beautifully and then I had one other small issue. The icue software was not behaving right which caused the fans not to spin up when the of was under load. A reinstall of the software fixed this and now this pc runs like a champ. This thing stays remarkably cool and quiet. Even if you crank the fans it isn’t bad. And it runs every game you can throw at it maxed out.

Do not get everything from here and if you do make sure that you check everything part by part
Don’t you love it when you buy a new computer and it comes without all the parts? Well, that happened to me not only once but twice. The first time, it had no CPU, GPU, or RAM and SSD. Can you believe it? The second time, it had no RAM, power supply, cooler, and a 2060 RTX loose on the case instead of the 4080 Super. Seriously, come on, bro! Don’t anyone check this before getting built or sending it! I offered the option to contact Corsair for the missing parts, but they didn’t reach out after three days. So, I’m returning the second one again. DO NOT BUY FROM HERE. It was the worst experience ever. It was really disappointing, and there was no quality or inspections.

Hoped for better
Bought a prebuilt because I don’t have time to build one. Received this set it up, powers on then powers down lights flashing. So figured something came loose in shipping. Check all my connections make sure everything is seated and snug. Retry powers on then off lights flashing. Notice vga light on mother board. Look at the gpu. So the support bracket for the gpu holds the gpu from seating all the way in. Gpu metal frame bent and screw pulled from gpu frame. Bend back frame (very carefully) reseat gpu, have to bend mounting bracket back in place, reattach bracket. Turn it on works. This could have been avoided easily with a foam insert in the case to keep everything from moving. So if you do purchase this and have the same issue hope it helps. Pretty disappointed in the way I received this product.
