Continental Race 28 700 x 20-25c Inner Tubes - Long Presta 80mm Valve (Pack of 2)

These conti inner tubes are well-priced and work well for my needs. I am a sporadic cyclist where i will hop off and on the bike but when i do i go for 20-mile+ rides, mostly consisting of smooth tarmac, some loose gravel and canal towpaths. They seem very durable and I haven't yet received a puncture in 500 miles of cycling, even over questionable loose gravel tracks used on farms in the rural countryside. They need to be pumped with air every couple of weeks to keep in the pressure, but its never a problem. Fitting the inner tubes is easy, but i recommend using tyre levers; it's never the tubes themselves that are hard to fit the tyres on the rim, rather, if anything so invest in some tyre levers. They arent the lightest of inner tubes and the best on the market but they are a solid option for someone on a budget or new to cycling, they do the basics well.

If you have deep section wheels and need inner tubes then you need these. Don't make the rookie mistake like me and buy standard inner tubes because the valve will not come all the way through the rim so you won't be able to pump the tyre up. These work well, hold air for weeks and don't puncher as easy as some of the cheeper ones.

Very long valves, still fit but both tyres slowly deflate over a couple of weeks.

Terrible product. The rubber is too thin and easily punctured. I have had a faulty one that split around the valve without riding anywhere. I have put on lots of inner tubes and these just aren’t worth the risk. The fit ok but Don’t waste your money, you can buy cheaper and stronger inner tubes at half the cost.
