Cuisinart CABP-300 Adjustable Burger Press, Makes 1/4lb to 3/4lb Patties

I've used this burger press multiple times since purchasing it, and it continues to impress me with how easy and consistent it is to use. The adjustable feature makes it simple to create patties from 1/4 lb to 3/4 lb, depending on how thick you like them. The non-stick surface helps the meat release cleanly, and the textured press gives the patties a nice grill-ready pattern. It's built solidly and feels very durable in the hand. I appreciate that the handle gives you great leverage without much effort. Clean-up is quick—just a quick rinse or hand wash and you're good to go (though I still avoid putting it in the dishwasher to keep it in top shape). I've used it with beef, turkey, and even plant-based meats, and it works great across the board. If you love making your own burgers and want consistent size and shape every time, this is a must-have tool. Highly recommended!

Easy to use, makes each burger the same size and this evens out the cooking time, so that each burger is cooked the same. Easy clean up and simply takes the guess work out of making burgers, great product.

Good product. Does the job well and makes for a very handsome looking, crisp-edged patty. What I have determined, for myself, is it makes sense when forming many display worthy patties -- as in maybe 10 or more for a party. Any less I will craft by hand. Meat proportions must be rather precise to avoid oozing from too much, or, voids from too little being introduced into the mold. Parchment, wax paper or plastic sheeting must be on the press plates, under and on top of meat before operating to avoid contaminating the press, which then requires disassembly.

This is a kitchen tool worth having. For those of us who are diet conscious and want to control portions and amounts it is perfect. Whether you are cooking just for yourself or for a whole family grinding your own ground beef and making perfect quarter pounders is the way to go.

Does not come with instructions, burger will get stuck in its parts, will need disassembly, but I am unable to locate any instructions. Seems cool, but without knowing how to easily dissassemble for proper cleaning this is a potential health hazard.

I've owned many patty presses over the years, but up until now, they've all forced me to make sure the patty was even by getting the pressure from my hand in exactly the right place. Result: Universally uneven patties. This press takes care of that problem. Just press it until it's fully closed, and your patty will be even, every single time. Setting the thickness of your patty is as easy as turning the screw on top, which is marked with the appropriate thickness for 1/4 lb., 1/3 lb., 1/2 lb., and even 3/4 lb. patties. (Or you can set it to whatever you need.) There is a "lock nut" on the adjustment screw, so that you don't accidentally change the setting while you're working. I didn't time it, but I'd be willing to bet this thing cuts my patty-making time in half, plus it takes away the annoyance of always having to fiddle with it to get good patties. My one suggestion: Get patty papers to use with this. Put one on top and bottom. This will keep the press from getting dirty, which is a minor concern, since disassembly for thorough cleaning is pretty tedious. All in all, I find this to definitely be worth the purchase price, especially if you store a lot of ground beef in your freezer.

The shear stupidity of whoever thought this was a good idea... 1. The meat sticks to both sides and not all of it comes off in one piece. 2. As you press on the meat it goes up behind the top plate(way to much space on the sides) which means you have to take the whole thing apart "everytime" you used it. 3. If you do manage to make a perfectly round patty and it sticks to the top, there is no way to separate it from the top without having to unscrew the top, which if you hands(from just handling the meat are still somewhat greasy) can't turn the knob to screw the top plate down far enough to release the patty.. All is all...a bad buy...A royal Piece of CRAP!!!

Works as it should and like that it is not plastic and easy to clean

O produto é muito bom, mas tem que ter atenção com a limpeza. Após o uso, a parte superior precisa ser desmontada por completo, pois entram "migalhas" de carne entre o embolo e a carcaça externa.
