Works as good as new. I have run quiet a few boards through planner without any issues. Great replacement belt and great price. Also now have spare since 2 came in the package and cheaper than OEM

Good belts! They aren't exactly easy to install but it's not it's not the belt's fault. You have to squeeze it between the belt pulley and the height adjustment bar. Good product though! I would buy it again.

It's difficult to install but, from what Ive read, that's true of even the "name brand". Once it's on it works great though.

PITA to install, but that's DeWalt's (or whoever they contrated in China to make their planers) fault. Has to be installed like a stretch belt, even though it shouldn't stretch (in theory). Make sure the pulleys are clean of pitch and caked on sawdust, and the belt is aligned with the ribs in the pulley grooves and you should be good.

A good product at a great price. They work really well.

Fairly easy to install but when your first belt fails it melts the ribs into the pulley itself ,spray carburetor cleaner it will come out easier and.belt will run true

Do not purchase. I foolishly purchased this to save a few dollars. The first one broke trying to get it on. I was more carefull with the second. Got it on fine, ran the planer for maybe 5 minutes, it came apart. Definitely should have gone with Dewalt belt, as I would have saved three days of downtime. I saved $5 to lose $1500.

The belt was a different material than the original Dewalt. Once attached it worked only a short time then it just came apart, second belt tore while trying to get it on. This was not a good choice on my part, should have stayed with the actual Dewalt brand. Update: This vendor was EXCELLENT in working with me and stood 100% behind their product. Thank you for addressing my issue promptly .

The belt fit well, and works great! BUT!!! It would have been nice to get some instructions regarding how to install it. I fought for about an hour, and gave up. I found a YouTube video that made installation a piece of cake. Without the video, I don’t know what I would have done. BTW, Dewalt was no help, at all.

I don't know why I think it's a good idea to buy these cheap copies. These belts are much thinner that the original and too long/loose to fit on the machine I do not understand how this can get good reviews, unless the buyers are fitting them on a different machine because they don't work on the dewalt 733 type 2

Half the price of buying local and they fit perfectly. Just be cognizant of the fact they need to be lined up with the grooves on you pulleys for longevity/

Very difficult to iinstal

I have a DeWalt DW733 Type 1 planer with 6 ribs on the pulley. The ribs correctly align with the belt, but the belt is approx 1/2” longer than required. Nevermind tight fit and difficult installation, the belt loosely slips over the 2 pulley and there is NO friction fit to turn the blades! Received belt was clear whereas original and picture were orange. Bag it was packaged in was marked correctly, but maybe wrong part in the bag? Anyway, buyer beware.
