This is a game changer! Makes wearing your kytex holster so much more comfortable! I promise you will not regret this purchase. It's made pretty well. I bought 3 of these already. One for each of my carry weapons. The price is right compared to the others I've seen on line. I recommend to use the larger pad or both on you sub and full size carry weapons. So it is comfy. They hold up pretty good for the price. The glue that holds the loop velcro to the holster could be better. I did not sand the holster for better adhesion, but I did clean it with degreaser and the provided alcohol wipes. It does make the holster much more comfortable though. The big con is that it make me feel a little less safe reholstering, like the foam might get into the trigger guard. But if you are careful it's fine. You can also cut that bit off and round it out. Thats what I ended up doing. I think if I redid it I would get the cheaper foam backers with the neoprene liner and just cover the back of the holster with that. However, if you have a holster tha goes up to the beavertail on the gun, you can foam pad the beaver tail, and that makes this is 100% worth having. That beaver tail digging into my stomach is why I got this in the first place, so... i would have to give it 5 stars for doing what I needed to do. Just sand the holster a littler for better adhesion and cut that corner to avoid it getting into the trigger guard.

I think the density is a little on the lite side. I use both peices stuck together. Never tried the Gunzee brand, this price point was worth trying. Don't trim it to start, the more coverage the better. And as always, the other option for improved comfort...be less fat.

This is a game changer. I went from absolutely hating solid holsters to be so comfortable in one im now using it everyday with no issue. I've always used the wetsuit type fabric holsters because I could never get comfortable sitting with any kind of solid holster. I put this on a unusable kydex holster I had and never went back to my old holster. Its very easy to install and the adhesive works very well. The size choices made it easy to pick the right size for you holster. You get 2 different thickness pad so depending on you holster and body you can get the right level of comfort and still keep concealed. These are so cheap and work so great there is no reason not to give it a try.

For $20 i would expect the cushion to be more dense. The padding is so light that i don't know why anyone would use the thinner of the 2 pads. I gave this 3 stars because I used it for a different purpose on my holster (used it as a wrap around from the exposed compensator, this provided just enough cushion to keep it from printing thru my jeans and softened the hard edges of the compensator against the body.

Yep, game changer when using a Kydex ITW holster. I did Velcro the pad to the holster so it stays in place, but did not cut it to match the holster so it also protects my skin from the gun itself. Overall very pleased with this purchase. I am using the thinner pad which is plenty.

As a bigger guy its hard to carry comfortably. I'm left handed and I carry at the 7 o'clock position. I spent months dealing this kydex holster digging into my back because of my disdain for returns and my skepticism of the product. I have no problem admitting when I'm wrong. This pad has been nothing shy of a game changer for my. I often forget I'm even carrying. Additionally, it comes with 2 different thicknesses for your optimal comfort level. I will buy again for my other IWB holsters.
