Very good solution for Bluetooth intregation
All parts pictured are included. All cables have connectors, so assembly is easy. Installation is straight-forward if you know your car (Trim tools are very helpful) with one caveat: the adapter harness does not fit behind the head unit, so I need to temporarily remove the head unit bracket and careful fold the harness under the radio and replace the bracket. Everything fit back together for me, but it took some effort. I currently have the controller box in the glove box, but I have enough slack to mount it behind. All functions work, including steering wheel controls. XD Bluetooth turns on and connects almost immediately. Sometimes after a call it will immediately start playing music even if their wasn’t any playing before the call, but that could be my phone?Overall, very pleased. Much better than a cheap AUX Bluetooth module.

Works Great... If you can get it installed.
There are really two parts to this review... the product itself, and then the overall experience of actually getting it working.Firstly, once the product is installed and set up, it works exactly as advertised. The bluetooth connection to my iPhone works perfectly, the stock BMW head unit sees it as a CD Changer, which is great as it allows me to control the music on the phone using the steering wheel controls. Taking calls via Bluetooth works well also with no sound quality issues or dropouts that I have seen. As a product, I give this item 5 stars. So, that brings us to the installation and setup. This unit comes with virtually no instructions nor documentation at all. In fact, the little pamphlet that it comes with tells you to go to YouTube to learn how to remove your stereo from the dash. Which, in all honesty, I would actually also recommend. Because without that, there's no way you'll get this thing installed properly on the first go. So, for instructions and ease of installation, I give this 3 starsThat evens out to 4, which is what I've given

Glad it’s done!
This device works as advertised. The music to phone to music transistion is quick. Google Nav works just fine through the car speakers. The steering wheel buttons work as you would expect - the same as they do for the radio. Holding the talk button does not wake up Siri, unfortunately, but other wise, the operation is very good. HOWEVER, the installation is not for the faint of heart, nor for those who are not nimble. First of all, there are no instructions, not even a sugggestion to search YouTube, or where to connect the provided cables. Once on YouTube, there is no video from LA Power, but there are many others, from which, you eventually get the idea. Running a cable from the glovebox to the center of the dash sounds easy, but it took me hours. Then, when it came time to install the microphone wire, I had to do that part all over again. A hint to tape the cable and mic wire together would have have made this into one step. There is no suggestion to remove the AC vent. But that is the only way you can reach the wire from the glovebox, or manipulate the huge connectors so that the radio will slide back into position. The installation was quite an ordeal - but now I have a huge sense of accomplishment, which, I guess, is the point of DIY. Four stars - it could have been easier with some instructions.

Now my friends will finally stop complaining that my car doesn't have aux, thank you LaPower
Very pleased with the sound quality. Almost sounds like I put in a new amp, but I guess I'm just used to listening to the radio. It starts and pairs very quickly which had me quite impressed. Installing it in my '01 330ci was a bit interesting, but I got it done. I had to open the circuit board drop down to feed the wire up into it and then grab it from the other side by shoving my hand deep inside the well behind where the stereo head unit goes. You have to get down low to get an angle to see up into where you can feed the wire, but there is actually a spot where it can go through without having to remove paneling or cut any holes. Fitting the adapters, plugs, wires, and cables into a spot where they can all fit behind the stereo head unit can be tricky, but it can be done. There is a spot to the back left where you can put the 17 pin adapter, and you can feed the other half of the cable that connects to the Bluetooth device itself through the back right and then down to where you fed it through earlier from the glove box. It is not quite as easy as I thought it would be to install but now that it's done, it is extremely convenient to have Bluetooth connectivity to my OEM radio which I love the look of, as well as the option to open the glove box and hand the device to someone if they would rather just plug in an aux cable. Not to mention this undoubtedly cost a fraction of what it would have cost to do something similar at a car electronics/audio shop, where they would probably try to sell you an ugly new stereo head unit which devalues your vehicle. I was also impressed by the inclusion of a set of "dip switches" on the device that adjust the volume a bit. It does mention in the manual a specific config for if you have a particular vehicle, but for most default is recommended. There is even a microphone for phone calling if you don't have a phone mount already, which ultimately I chose not to install since I don't really need it. Oh, did I forget you can also plug in a usb stick or hard drive and it will play the songs in order by the time at which the folder they were in was created? Well, would you believe me if I told you there's also an sd card slot? Dreams do come true.
