Great 1200Mbps Router
I’ve used TP-Link and Tenda before, but in my view, this D-Link DIR-825 is the better product. The setup was very easy, and the signal strength is great. I do have to restart it once in a while when the speed drops, but it immediately fixes the issue and returns to my full 100 Mbps speed. Overall, a very good purchase.

Good product, Wifi range a lil dissappointing..
The product is fairly easy to self install if you can follow the procedures, and very easy for a technical person. No complaints at all. However, i feel the wifi range is low if there are walls in between. Wifi does not catch with a couple walls in between. I get a speed of 100 kbps just 15 meters away if i close the door of my room. Apart from that, I will easily get good speeds even 30 meters away in the open. So make sure you install it at a place which is sort of in the center of your home having maximum straight wave access everywhere.

Good for those who knows what to do with it
Easy to install and decent quality of material used for body, I'm using it as secondary router for 2nd floor with a ethernet cable and it works amazing no speed difference between main and this router. 5ghz range is alright and 2.4 is good enough too depending on thickness of walls and stuff it may vary for you so decide well how u wanna use it

D Link is a good quality product, unfortunately for me the router went dead after only one day of use, returned the router & received the refund promptly.

Unsupported/Legacy model
I tried setting up this device via "dlink Wifi" mobile app and app reported QR code was not valid. When I tried to manually select the product from a list I found that this model "DIR-825" is not listed (among in other DIR-* products). When i researched on the internet I found that this model (DIR-825) is a "legacy" product! (Check attached photo). In 2026 this model is past "end of life" for support (aka UnsupportedProduct). Needed technical support and use computer+LAN cable to configure device for use. Disappointed why these are listed on Amazon as a top/best-selling product. Suggest to buy newer model.

Good performance gigabit capable router
Cheapest gigabit router from a name brand you’ll find. Performance is good for my 250mbit internet connection.

Terrible router
Terrible item. Both Wifi bands disappear all the time! You need to restart the router at least once a day! Sadly threw the box out, so I can’t return it!
