Carhartt Men's Relaxed Straight Rigby Pant

I'm a big fan of the Duluth Flex Firehose pants. But they have limited colors in my size and I was wanting to get away from cargo pants for a change. I had some carpenter jeans from Carhartt and I liked the fit, but they were straight denim and not much give to the pants. Plus I can't wear jeans to work. I decided to see what Carhartt offered in a stretch material with different colors that could pass for "business casual". I tried these and they are comfortable, fit great, move well and look nice. I can wear them on the motorcycle and not feel like they're binding me up. They're nice enough I can wear them in an office. I will definitely be buying these in the future.

Really nice simple pants. Stretchy but durable, I’ve bought 2 pairs. I like them to fit loosely around the thigh so I bought one waist size larger than I normally would. Great price for what you’re getting.

Good quality and stretchable fabric material, also very comfortable. Flexible enough for rugged use or smart casual. I sized up and it’s a bit loose on the waist but more or less true-to-size. I also appreciate the relaxed fit as my thighs are on the large side and it gives that balanced silhouette.

Sizing was fairly close to an actual 34x34 for me. The zipper and button function as intended. I liked the deep pockets and the side pocket was perfect for my knife clip. They were soft, comfortable, and felt lightweight. I believe they will be very durable for my use in a warehouse environment. I felt like there will be two issues for me. While they feel lightweight, I don't believe they will breathe enough to keep me cool in Texas. I felt that yesterday afternoon and it was only around 85 or so outside. The other issue is the length between the waist and crotch area. Seemed a little tight than what I would like. Hey, I'm old and gravity is doing what gravity does down there. Overall though, I would recommend.

These Carhartt pants are fantastic. They are built to last, extremely durable, and comfortable enough for long days of work. The fit is perfect for me, and they handle tough tasks easily. Highly recommend for anyone looking for reliable work pants.

Update 2025 March 27 Big mistake on my part. I thought I was buying a different version of Carhartt jeans than my last (earlier) purchase. But again, a big disappointment. Very light weight. Not what I was looking for, especially from Carhartt, and at $55. These are more like discount store quality. The waist and seat fit are ok. But the "Relax fit legs is borderline bellbottoms. Overall, the jeans don't hang well, don't look like an appropriate fit, nor are they in the legs. As far as a fifth pocket for a cell phone ... definitely not a secure pocket for that purpose. The pocket is sized more appropriately suited for a flip phone; and it's not secure. Sitting down will cause the phone to slide right out of that 5th pocket. What happened to Carhartt? Original Review 2021 October 05 "Carhartt Men's Rugged Flex Rigby Five Pocket Pantice", are comfortable trousers, but I was disappointed in two aspects. They are advertised as work pants, but the material was considerably lighter weight than expected for work pants.. Considerably lighter than blue jeans. It seems as though these are more appropriate for a trip to the hardware store than actually doing manual labor in. But they seem adaquately constructed enough that I will add them to my closet, just not to my work pants group. The second little disappointment, is that I purchased them for among other reasons, because they show a thigh pocket in the photo. I thought great, finally some descent trousers that I can carry my smart phone in. I understand that they were probably not designed specifically for cell phone carriers, but I was disappointed none-the-less. They are better suited for a flip phone because of the depth of the pocket. Update 2021-01-08 After wearing these for several months I felt compelled to downgrade my rating from four stars to three. I bought these as work pants with a 5th pocket so that I can carry my cell phone. The pants fall short of my needs for these reasons: 1. The fabric weight is too light for true work pants. Ok for a trip to the store. 2. The 5th pocket is too shallow for most new smart phones. When sitting the phone has a tendency to fall out. 3. The 5th pocket is placed toward the back of the leg. So, when one does sit down, it is on whatever is in that 5th pocket. That pocket needs to be deepened and relocated more to the side rather than the back. And it would be nice if had a flap that buttoned or snapped. Overall, descent pants. Just not what I had in mind when I made the purchase.

Is exactly what you would expect from Wrangler. Fit is accurate. Great pair of pants. Got a size 38 so my husband as room to put a pair of sweatpants underneath for hunting. He is about 5’8 and 220 pounds. Fit is like any other wranglers

Väldigt liten i storlek, tveksamt om jag överhuvudtaget vågar tvätta denna efter vad jag läst om krympning men i övrigt en riktigt fin byxa.
