7mm ep
This eyepiece is incredible! Its views are definitely on par if not better than my tele view ep that costs twice as much. I wish they made this in a 4-5 matthaglund but I combine it with a Celestron 2x Barlow and the images are still very bright and clear. Definitely an excellent ep for the money

These EyePieces OPEN UP THE SKY to Stellar Levels
I PURCHASED THE 7mm, 10mm, 15mmAnd i use them with 2 different Newtonian Telescopes:I was Gifted a Celestron 76mm Newtonian Telescope by my Wife, and it came with 2 Celestron Plossl EyePieces 10 & 20mm...Passion took over and shortly after i got my hands on another Newtonian Telescope, 150mm that came with a 25mm Kellner Eyepiece.STARGAZING LIFE CHANGING MOMENT:My Brother gifted me a LUMINOS 10mm EyePiece and i got hooked! These EyePieces give you a really wide field of view and rise brightness to another level. My 2 Telescopes have 700mm and 750mm Focal Lenght, so very similar, but they are very different in Diameter, Double to be precise, so one is an F10 and the other is an F5, yet these EyePieces made me see the sky a whole other way with both! Some people complain that the Luminos are affected by Edge Of Field Brightness, but i noticed a bit of that only when i am in areas with Blue Light Pollution...I'd say it's a professional Defect: these EyePieces are all about Bringing Luminosity to your Eye, and that's exactly what they do.If i am in a darker area, i don't see any Bright Ring around my Focal View and the views are beyond Fantastic, they really opened up the Sky for me.As the name suggest, these LUMINOS Eyepieces bring out the Luminescence of the sky; so beware if you try watching the Moon... You may need SunGlasses.... Well, better use a proper filter. The Eye Releif is very comfortable, i can easily move my head around a bit, and still see the object i am observing, which is quite a great feature since far Planets tend to move very quickly.I should note I don't have an Electronic Mount, so i have to manually re-adjust the Tripod periodically... with the other Eye pieces i had to do it every few seconds, with these LUMINOS i get a couple of mins of good view before i have to re-adjust... quite a nice trait. The adjustable EyeCups make it easy to re-find the proper head position after each re-adjustment, and i find it a comfy feature. But BEWARE: these EyePieces are HEAVY,very HEAVY, so you will need to adjust the DoveTail to compensate for it, or maybe you'll have to put other CounterWeights, especially if you are using a Barlow too. With the Wide Field, i can place Jupiter, or Saturn in the edge of the view, and it takes a good couple of minutes, or even more, before it crosses over the whole Field of View, giving me all rhe time needed to focus and get a good view if the passing object. There is a slight Aberration towards the edge view when i use it with my 150mm F5 Telescope, but it didn't borher me, and to be fair:I corrected that by applying a 2X Barlow Lens. And man!at that point you might as well be walking on the Moon.I loved the LUMINOS 10mm so much, that i ended up buying the 15mm and later on even the 7mm, so now i have all the 3 LUMINOS Eyepieces in the 1,25" Barrel size. These EyePieces are a bit Expensive, yet so far i found them to be worth the investment and i am enjoying them a whole lot.Do not expect the view quality of a higher priced eye piece like a Pentax or a Televue... but we are talking about completely different price ranges.I believe in this Mid Price Range, this is the best you can find.Make sure you buy a good case for them, they come only with a Foamy Box and it doesn't hold them very tight, so you will need a proper case to keep em safe... I bought myself a case where i could safely put them together (in picture)I hope you'll find this Helpful

A good mid-priced eyepiece
I like the eyepiece. It has a good, hefty feel to it and gives a very wide-field apparent field of view. The quality is great and for the price, it is a good value.

The Holy Hand Grenade!
Installed this EP on an Orion Apex 102mm Maksutov. Views are very decent, clarity is on par with the Sirius 25mm Plossl that came with the scope. Brightness for terrestrial objects is slightly dimmer but not by much. The FOV is very nice, however...yes, it's however time...I had to put my eye right up to the eyepiece to get my peripheral vision to take in the entire view. Once you get your eye against the EP you may end up with center blackouts unless you have your eye perfectly oriented...which kind of defeats the long eye relief and wide FOV.I've come to the conclusion that 70 degrees is what I'm going to shoot for to maximize the Maksutov's narrow field of view. Even 66 degrees would be okay I think. I cannot imagine actually being able to see 100 FOV unless the last element was like a camera's LED screen. One more thing, with the eye cup raised fully, it does limit your FOV drastically, I'm guessing approximately 66-70 FOV but I don't have any 66-70 EP's to compare it with yet. I generally view with the cup bottomed out, it's actually very easy to view this way...unless you need to block external lighting, there's no reason to raise the cup.I have no issues with the quality of the EP for the money, however, there are $50 SWA 70 degree EP's that are much lighter. I will be ordering either a GSO or SWA to compare clarity/brightness.If anyone else has the Luminos 15mm, I'd be interested to hear if you can actually see the entire 82 FOV without difficulty. One more nice thing about this EP, it sits upside down very nicely in it's rubber cup.And one final warning, if you have the Min-Eq mount from Orion, it's already at it's limit with the 102mm Mak...once you add this EP you'll have to remove the view finder or add more counterweight to the other end to keep things balanced properly. I did try this EP with the 2.5x Edmund Barlow that I got with my Astroscan...that was very touch and go...definitely not something I'll be repeating. That's it for now...Peace,J.Update:Doing some terrestrial testing today and found that approximately 5-10% of the outside FOV is slightly curved and the focus was not the same as the center. You can focus the outside edge but then the center is out of focus. You really do have to struggle to see the outside edges so it's not a major issue. I guess for some people, one really nice thing about this EP is that you really can't see the edge which makes the expansive view breath-taking and all that good stuff...I really would like to be able to see the full FOV without having to let your eye wander around as another reviewer mentions.

Had me at FOV
Sorry for the pun, but it's true. The FOV is incredible. It's so nice to get that magnification, and not have to constantly adjust to keep the target in the sights for more than a few tics. Clarity is good, and if it's a smidge darker, that's not a bad thing in my location because things are so bright I usually need a filter or put the cap on my reflector. I will say that I have to sit down to use this. For some reason, when viewing, it seems like the scope is tipping, or I'm falling over? Neither of which is true, but it's strange sensation. Update: I've loved the 7mm so much in my 750 f/5 Skywatcher, nothing compares, and I've tried, so I completed the set with the 10 and the 15 and with these three I'm sure to get a great view of planets and moon items.
