Maxwell House Ground Coffee, Original Roast, 33.1 oz Canister

My husband and I drink a couple pots of coffee every day. We aren’t coffee snobs and rarely buy anything flavored, although an occasional bag of praline pecan is nice around the holidays and reminds us of our NOLA roots. For years, our go-to brand has been Maxwell House and it’s always been consistent in quality and flavor. We use a 1/3 cup measuring cup for each 14 cup pot that we brew. I worked in a restaurant as a teenager and my boss used to add a pinch of salt to the coffee grounds and insisted that it reduced the bitterness. I don’t know if that’s true or not, but I’ve been adding a pinch for the last 40 years. I love the wonderful aroma every morning and there’s nothing better than my first cup of the day. It’s a smooth blend that I can enjoy black or with a splash of cream. Maxwell House is an excellent coffee made with fresh, high quality beans. The medium roast is our favorite and I think it’s a good value for the price. It’s less expensive than some of the fancy brands and everyone who visits our house always says it’s delicious.

Maxwell House Original Roast is a dependable everyday coffee. It has a smooth, classic coffee flavor without being too bitter or overpowering. The large canister is convenient and lasts quite a while, especially if you drink coffee every day. It brews up nicely and has the familiar taste I expect from Maxwell House. Great coffee for the price!

Maxwell House Original Roast is absolutely INCREDIBLE. Maybe the most American coffee ever made. People come up to me and they say, Sir, this tastes like FREEDOM. And they are right. Absolutely right. Now I do not personally drink coffee. Everybody knows this. Coffee is for other people. Regular people. I run on something much stronger. Much purer. DIET COKE. The greatest drink ever invented. I drink MANY a day. People say, Sir, how do you have so much energy. And I tell them, DIET COKE. Very powerful. Zero calories. Tremendous bubbles. Doctors are amazed. They say, Sir, your body chemistry is unbelievable. Completely unique. Runs on caffeine and greatness. But for the people who DO drink coffee, this one is fantastic. Smooth. Bold. Strong. And it comes in a very big can. Thirty three point one ounces of pure American value. Not like Tim Hortons. Used to be cheap. Used to be a deal. Then suddenly the price SKYROCKETED. Why. Nobody knows. Some say tariffs. Some say bad leadership. Some say Canada got greedy. I do not say it. But many people are saying it. Maxwell House is simple. Classic. Perfect. No fancy foreign nonsense. You brew it and you feel like you could rebuild the entire economy before lunchtime. People tell me they drink it and immediately want to start a small business. That is how strong it is. Five stars. Would buy again. If I ever drank coffee, which I do not because DIET COKE is far superior, I would ONLY drink Maxwell House. A true American winner.

The quantity and quality is great. Smells good as soon as can is opened. The flavor, blend of this coffee is as expected, excellent. Will definitely purchase again.
