GMO although described as natural.
I was surprised to find this was GMO as described as natural. Tried to return as not wanted but this was refused by the seller.

"May contain genetically modified soya and nuts" - ARE YOU KIDDING ME!!!
At first glance, I thought this food looked like a great grainless guinea pig food.....until I read the ingredients! "May contain genetically modified soya and nuts" Well, nuts are not good for piggies and as for GM soya, there's no way I want to be giving that to my furbaby. May I recommend Rosewood Naturals Meadow Menu, it's the most natural piggy food that I've found and my boy loves it too. Please, read the ingredients of foods and treats, they are not all healthy.

Delicious but healthy!
My guinea pigs love this! When I switched them to Selective Naturals they became so much more excited for their pellets, running over and begging. It's great to see a daily food option that is clearly not only delicious for the piggies but also healthy and nutritious. This food was recommended to me as one of the best options on the market for their health, with the grain free recipe a massive plus. The bag size is pretty standard and lasts my two boys a fair while (maybe 1 ½ months?). While the price is a bit more than your standard pet shop/supermarket options, it is still affordable and I think the difference in quality makes it well worth it. The only complaint I have is that the bottom of the bag is just pellet dust rather than actual pellets, but I have had the same experience with basically every guinea pig food I have tested. The pellets smell fresh and I appreciate how it is not a muesli mix as this prevents guinea pigs from selective eating and not getting all the nutrients they need in their diet. Since starting these pellets I haven't noticed any issues with my piggies' digestion/stool. Overall would definitely recommend, this is the best option I have found myself and my pigs are always happy when they hear the bag rustle.

one delivery not up to the usual standard
i hope my present order is better than my last one . My last 3 bags were very crumbly and I had to throw away at least half of each bag as it was not formed into the nuggets and my guinea pigs could not eat it .

A hit with my guide pigs, but more expensive than other brands
My girls love this stuff, it is pricier than other brands. However, I hear this is healthier and potentially can reduce risk of bladder stones.

Fussy Guinea pig
Sadly my Guinea pig would not eat these nuggets, but I do seem to have quite a fussy eater!

best pellets on the market
if you’re trying to decide between these pellets or another type or your guinea pigs, choose these. not only do my pigs go crazy for them, but they’re the healthiest and most nutritious pellets you can feed your pigs. one of my girls is prone to bladder stones and these are perfect as they are low in calcium, as pellets should be. the grain-free ones are anyway, as they’re not as high in alfalfa or other high-in-calcium ingredients :) the bag is a good size and lasts just over 2 weeks for my 3 pigs. i can’t recommend these enough and will forever be my (and my pigs) pellets of choice!!
