Nylon Fabric Waterproof Material 4oz by The Meter (Grey)

I would definitely buy again from this company. Arrived on time. Never bought fabric on line before. Have sewn all my life. Quality good was easy to work with and has made a lovely cover for my parasol. Now onto some cushions for out doors to match.

I wanted this material to recover the seat covers of my dining chairs. It needed to be light & pliable enough as being used for indoor upholstery but i still wanted waterproof and washable so I could clean my kids mess off. My little monkies are still very messy and very prone to spillages. Well for the price it's spot on, hot soapy water and my chairs look nice & clean again after meal times! I've included a before and after photograph of my chairs, to give you an idea as to what I'm up against!

I bought this fabric in good faith that it will be suitable to make waterproof covers for outdoor furniture. I've made the covers and after the first rain, I checked and it was completely wet on the table underneath!! SOOOO disappointed after all the hard work, and leaving me without proper covers! It should have stated that it is light shower resistant and definitely not waterproof. It is beautiful fabric to use for any other purpose that waterproofing.
