I use the dermaroller for my face and even when it my skin is completely clean, the roller tends to pick up some dead skin cells/flakes, which get caught in the small gaps next to the needles. This makes it extremely hard to clean and soaking it in 70-90% alcohol doesn't do anything to remove particles that are visible to the eye. Decent product otherwise - have gotten in a few uses with no major issues so far.

This thing is AWFUL! I followed directions and first sanitized it with alcohol by dipping it into a cup and letting it sit for about 45 seconds before removing. I put it back in it’s holder with the lid of to air dry and when I went to use it about 10 minutes later I noticed that with the first roll it was leaving black streaks- because the paint on the handle was coming off! And I’m pretty sure pushing that black dye into the skin would not be a good thing! Luckily I could return this piece of junk. 100% ABSOLUTELY DO NOT RECOMMEND! In fact this seems like a health hazard and I wish Amazon would discontinue this I mean who knows what is in that dye!
