See's Candies 8 oz Silver Assorted Chocolate Box

Bought this for a gift for my boyfriend and he absolutely loved it. It’s a smaller box than I expected to get for the price, but the little sleek yet simple box is classy and expensive looking which is a great first impression for a gift! There is a really lovely variation of chocolates here (Half a pound)) so you get a little bit of everything in this box! There’s caramel, dark chocolate, milk chocolate, walnut, brittle and more. The chocolate caramel one was my favorite! I was worried the chocolates might not be soft or fresh, but they were and they were excellent! These were very tasty and very much the quality you expect from See’s candy. They were not stale in the last bit, and you receive nice sized chocolates in the box! You can’t go wrong with See’s!

A delicious box full

I've bought See's Candy from Amazon before, and as expected, it was delicious. This is a tiny box, which is what I wanted. What I didn't expect was about a $25 shipping fee. When I lived in Washington state, that didn't happen. I moved to Texas, and I guess, because it's hot here, that necessitated a thermal box (way too big) with two ice pack bags, and lots of thermal wrapping. Totally unexpected.

Sees Candies are probably the best tasting chocolates you can buy. They just taste clean, if that makes sense, like you can taste individual ingredients - butter and brown sugar and cream and nuts - no chemical aftertaste or bitterness or cloying sweetness. I could easily eat a whole box in one sitting - they're definitely a treat, especially with them being so expensive, but so worth it!
