I bought two of these to store my 100ft extension cords. Prior I was lazy and didn't wind them the best way, so these help me out a lot. They keep them wound neatly and they don't unravel and get tangled up like before for me. Overall these are made of plastic, but I have a couple of older ones which still work fine and don't break unless you really make an effort to break them. Overall good addition to my extension cords to keep them wound nicely.

Works fine, for storing cables. The plastic rotation is not as smooth as you would hoped but it’s good for the price. I was able to roll up a 100 foot 12awg cable. And has it stand perfectly upright.

This item is fantastic for rolling up cords to store or even rolling up electric hot fence! The ease of use is straight forward and cannot be beat. Found the first one at Tractor supply but they didn’t have any more so found and bought 5 more here! The quality is great and these aren’t expensive at all. I am sure we will order more because this is way better than rolling them around your arm or hand to collect long cords!

It's ok; once you scrape the excess plastic at the mold seams off.The reel wouldn't rotate smoothly out of the bag until I trimmed the plastic burrs off.The price is right for a smaller reel that is made for 16 AWG, and shorter 14 AWG cords.It will be just right for my 50 ft 14 AWG cord; and not take up a lot of space on my tool bord.

good price and works note that it is not heavy duty....

The price of this plays a big role in this review. When the reel arrived it would not spin all the way around the handle. I had to remove some excess plastic buildup along the inside with my pocket knife to get this functional. Normally that would be enough for a 1-star review. But this is on sale for less than $8. That's a ridiculous price for a an extension cord storage solution that works really well, even if it does take some initial tweaks to get it working. In fact, I'm ordering another right now.
