After spending more time working with TIPEX nails, I have grown to appreciate this glue gel even more. The medium viscosity allows for good control without running everywhere, making application much easier. I’m always on the lookout for ways to save money and enhance my beauty routine, especially when it comes to doing my nails, hair, and makeup. I used to spend a lot of time doing my nails at home with acrylic fills, but it was a time-consuming process, and I never quite managed to perfect it. My daughter introduced me to a new type of nail tip, and after some research, I discovered that Beetles offers a comparable gel tip nail system called the “Beetles Tipex Instant Apex Nail Tips Kit with Dehydrator & Primer, Short Almond, 224PCS 16 Sizes, Reinforced Apex for Strong Long-Lasting Wear, 20g Solid Nail Glue, Mini UV Lamp, Base & Top Coat.” Given that the cost of the entire kit paid for itself after just one use, I decided to give it a try. I wanted to provide an honest review, so I waited to see how long the nails would last. My review focuses on the ease of use, application time, longevity of wear, and the strength of the nails and glue.I’m pleased to report that applying these nails was relatively straightforward. However, I did encounter a bit of a challenge with the excess gel glue that cures under the tip of the nail, extending out from my finger. I believe that with a few more attempts, I’ll be able to master this technique. This excess glue is a significant issue for me, but fortunately, I can trim it away without damaging the nails.I absolutely love the length of these nails; they are perfect for my small, petite hands and fingers. The shape is exactly what I was looking for, and the thickness is just right. They’re not too thick, which could make them look unnatural, nor are they too thin, which would compromise their strength. I appreciate how sturdy they are, as I don’t have to worry about them breaking with too much force. What I love most about these nails is their durability. They lasted me a full two weeks before a single nail popped off. Even when one nail did lift, I was able to apply gel underneath to reapply it, extending its wear for a few more days before deciding to put on a new set. Overall, I think this is a fantastic alternative to salon nails. The price is reasonable, and the application is quite easy. The kit includes everything you need for a complete set. I paired it with Beetles nail polish, which I have several sets of. The only issue I faced was removing the nails. I chose not to soak them in acetone, as I didn’t want to soak my fingers, so I clipped around them to pull them off. This method wasn’t the best, and it took me a couple of hours to remove them, but I’m sure I’ll find a more efficient way. Despite this, I think they’re absolutely stunning. I love how long they lasted, and as I become more adept at applying them, I’m hopeful that I’ll get even longer wear from a single set. I took my time during my last application, so I’m optimistic that they’ll last longer than the two weeks I experienced initially

I love that theres many nail sets in one package, definitely will last me a long time. It sticks well after applied correctly. Shape is amazing, if you like long and square nails! I'm not exaggerating when I say these have leveled up my nail game completely.The biggest selling point for me is the built-in apex. If you've ever struggled with building an apex using gel or acrylic, you know how time consuming and tricky it can be to get it just right. These tips eliminate that step entirely. You get that beautiful, natural-looking curve right out of the box — no extra product, no extra effort.The tips themselves are super sturdy and do not break easily, which is saying a lot. I've had press-ons snap within days, but these hold up really well and feel solid once applied.Now, the apex is on the higher side, so if you prefer a more subtle curve like I do, just grab a file and knock it down to your liking. Edited…….The good: I love the tips! They are amazing! Strong and durable with an incredible C curve. There’s a bunch of different sizes and the shape is on point! I barely had to file. They are thick in the center with an incredible Apex, the tip is thinned and the cuticle is thinned. I love the addition of a light and the shape of the light. The base and top coat are filled to the brim and the perfect thinness and self leveling. The dehydrator and primer and top notch and that is nothing shy of what would be expected from this brand. I would LOVE to see an XL, 2XL, and 3XL from this line.The Meh: the nail file is EXTREMELY course and rough. Make sure to file its edges or it will cut you badly. the gel glue. Unfortunately seems to have some sort of gummy bear texture even after being cured WELL PASSED the amount of time in the way that the instructions say to. Most gels solidify fully which leads me to wonder if the lamp doesn’t fully cure the gel leaving the user at risk of developing an under cured gel medical issue. If it is fully cured and just stays some sort of gummy bear texture I could see an advantage in how it could flex with the natural nail and it does hold on like crazy. However filling any spillage is extremely obnoxious and I do worry that any extra that is stuck near the free edge of the natural nail could collect bacteria. That being said the glue is the toughest well holding adhesion for full cover tips I’ve ever seen.(Edit) I do believe (now) that the gummy bear texture is fully cured as it is a very solid hold with the slightest bit of give under direct pressure and the nails are holding on without lifting under extreme conditions. I’m actually rather impressed with the hold. I did remove any spillage under the free edge and all around the nails when I applied, and then go back and seal the free edge and cuticles with base coat. Use less glue then you think you need, a little goes a very long way.I did reach out to the company but unfortunately they have said that kits bought through platforms other then their website can not be verified and asked for lots of pictures (which I supplied) and then they have not replied.

I have tried many different nail tips and these are hands down the best and the price is excellent! Tips are perfectly clear and not yellow at all. My personal preference is to have a strong nail tip so the nails appear to be more like acrylics and these nails fit the bill. I paired them with the Beetles Tipex glue and let me tell you, these nails did not budge. I wore them for four weeks and only took them off because they were so grown out. They are thin enough to look like real nails and easy to apply a gel coat, cure and you're done. When I run out, I'll be buying another box.

BUY THEM. YOU WON’T REGRET! I applaud these nails tips. Exactly what I needed and wanted! So good for the price!! They are super strong and durable, no bending, perfect application, the sizes are so versatile and the comfort of these nails are EVERYTHING!!! I did not have to shape these as they came exactly how I wanted them! They have the perfect apex we all need and love!! I’ll be buying them over and over!

I love these nail tips so much, pre etched and with an apex they are so strong and stay on for ages with proper application, that being said they are really easy to apply and they look great once painted. They save me so much time doing my nails it’s cut my application time down by half!

The apex on these nails are amazing, y’all I hit my nail on the wall and thought I was going to die and lose a nail😩. But that apex saved me. Didn’t even lift the nail one bit. Good product.

the apex is perfect. its a strong nail but not super thick. i would NOT recommend these for nail art or sculptural nails. single colour or glitter yes

I love these, pre-etched, beautiful apex, extremely easy to work with, especially if you’re new to applying full cover tips. Buy the right length though because they are hard to cut, mostly because they’re not meant to be cut. Highly recommend.
