せっかくならカメラ以外の機能があるものにしようと思い、スマホ操作で遠隔でおやつをあげられるこちらのモデルを購入しました。 外出中にお利口にしてた際などにご褒美でおやつをスマホから上げています。 うちのわんちゃんも気に入っているようです！ しつけ中のわんちゃんにも とても良いと思います。 カメラも問題なく動いており、仕事のときや買い物の時に大活躍です。 夜でもしっかり見えます。 音声機能もよく使用していて、外出中はよく話しかけています。 このブランドはいくつかペットカメラがあるようなので、他の部屋用に2台目も検討しようかなと思ってます。

UPDATE: Customer service saw this review almost immediately reached out to replace the item. The response received was thoughtful and curated to my experience. I sincerely hope they consider greener alternatives in regards to parts vs replacing a otherwise functional unit in the future. That said, 10/10 customer service on my end. I got slightly less than two years out of this product. I noticed the cat treats (Blue - Bursts) started jamming more than usual (every 1-2 days) for about 4 months. For the life of the dispenser it typically jammed about once a week. And yes, I read the directions and had an appropriate treat size and slot. To be frank In don't think this is designed for smaller cat treats and the jamming is why it eventually failed. Eventually I saw that the gear that spins had cracked and fell apart in several pieces. So completely unusable. I contacted support (VERY quick response) and was told after a year they can't send a free replacement. They also couldn't just replace the one part on an otherwise perfectly fine product. They did offer me a full replacement at a discounted price but what's to say it doesn't happen again. Also, the jamming even when new was annoying. I would have gladly paid to be green and just replace the gear to get another couple years out of it. Disappointing but on par with the price point.

I just got the machine and I see a lot of flaws and a lot of good things. Good things: - Size of the treats tank - App is easy to use -Imagine quality is good (day/night) - Powered by USB-C Bad things: - Not secure: my two cats smacked the petcube on the floor the moment they sensed that there was food in there. thankfully the machine was not broken but they could have made some damage. - The rectangular shape of the machine makes it easily subject to drop if a cat or dog lean on it just a little bit. It is frustrating if you left home and cant monitor your pets because they pushed the machine. - The treats tank is not secure: My two cats were able to open it without pushing it on the floor (because its tapped now). They still managed to open the top. - The camera wont zoom, move at all so you might have to place it in a weird position to capture the area you want. This can ruined you home staging. The machine is very big for what it does. its not very elegant (less than a thought). - Treats size: It is not made for cat treats, sometime it can shoot 6 treats.... Idk why but the amount of treats is not consistent (min: 2, max:6), I would have liked to have some adjustments so that I can shoot 1 treat at a time. Price: kind on pricy for what it does. it is comparable to other similar product but now that I have one I feel that they are all too pricy. I’m not happy with this product. When throwing a treat, it’s aim is all over the place. It’s just inconsistent. The only useful is the camera. Other than that, it isn’t very useful. Not worth buying.

Our doggo Maui loves the petcube product line. She would always sit in front of it asking for a treat. If only she could ask Alexa to throw a treat (Haha)! We love the new petcube lite look, especially with the white finish. Although its plastic vs. aluminum, its light weight structure makes it easy for hanging or traveling. This unit does not have a built in alexa, like our previous one, but it does connect to any alexa product. Hence, the price difference. The video quality and connectivity has continued to improve with every product release. Initial setup is always fairly easy and straight forward. The 2.5 GHz vs. 5 GHz need from your home internet service is something to consider. Non-tech savvy customers may have a difficult time with set up, not with the Petcube directly, but with their home internet set up. We are always excited to see what Petcube is releasing next. It really relieves the anxiety of leaving our pet home while were away. If i were new to the petcube line, choose the one that works best for you and your environment. The new petcube lite worked best for us. =================================================================================== Review Update: A few things about Petcube Lites that we thought is worth mentioning. We have been back to work for sometime now so the Petcubes are in use more than ever to entertain our Maui. Within the recent week, our neighborhood had a power outage and we had to manually reset the pet cube when we returned home. A redundancy system or notification that power was disrupted may be helpful for events like these. Since then, our Petcube Lite is working hard and Maui is waiting for a treat each day like clock work!
