Overall a great buy!
I’m giving this 5 stars because at the end of the day, it makes a really good cup of coffee. It has several different basket options and I made a perfect latte on my first try. As others have mentioned, it’s extremely loud. It doesn’t really bother me but I could see that being a problem in an office or home with littles. It was easy to set up. It looks great on my counter as I also have the kitchen aid mixer in the same color.

These machines will fail in about a year or less
I have purchased two of these machines and having worked for Whirlpool, understand how to make espresso. The problem is these machines do not last and trying to get a replacement requires waiting 3 hours and 50 minutes on the phone. I still having gotten through to service. You read correctly. 3 hours and 50 minute wait on the phone. The first machine worked for about 2 years of daily use approximately 3 times / day then the heater failed. The second unit worked for just 6 months and it failed. The espresso is decent but the reliability is disappointing and service is non existent.
