Works right away.
My husband had a stroke and lost his left side. He sits in a recliner which is electric. He got caught in it when the power went out. We had a hard time getting him out with the foot up. PGE is going to turn off power whenever they want to which made me worry about the future. I told my son and he found me your product. We brought in the generator and plugged in the chair. It worked! We will be able to cook and have heat! Wonderful! The wind power will be great when we have fog or clouds. It will take me time to get it all up but the generator works now! It was good service. Came early.I can relax now. Thank you.

Product Does Not Work As Advertised
Where do I start? The shipping boxes are not sturdy. They arrived ripped and taped several times. This made it impossible to return and cost almost $300 to return. Yeah, returning it isn't free even under manufacture's warranty. The generator would not support 3 strings of 2w cafe lights and an Intex pool filter for an hour. Can't imagine this running my refrigerator for 2 days. The windmill doesn't have a pole, which they tell you, but try finding a 12"+ pole to support this. The cord to the windmill exits through the collar that the pole would be inserted to so you have to drill a hole on the pole to string the cord through to connect to the generator. After charging it from an outlet, the display indicates that the battery is fully charged but, as I said, I won't support cafe lights and a cheap pool filter. Not to mention it was hooked up to the solar panel as well which saw full sunlight all day. Customer service is anything but that. They would not provide shipping containers to replace their original damaged containers, would not pay for the return, they have no partners on the east coast to drop this off for return and they tried to tell me there was "significant" damage when they got the return (scrapes obtained in the initial shipment from them) and made it sound like I was lucky to receive half of what I paid for it. Guess their mfg warranty is not a 100% refund. Maybe that should be in their product description? Don't bother with this. If you are lucky to have it work a few months and try to return it you WILL get screwed. Not worth the drama. Buy from a reputable local dealer.

No noise, easy to operate
I like the ease of running this. A little bit heavier than I was expecting. Quality is very good. I run in camper and I love it. Can run fans , keep phone charged with no problem. I even run my electric grill on it. Battery life is good. Charges in few hours. Solar panels are easy to set up. Love that I can expand. Going to get wind turbines to see how that works. Going to use in my apartment in the winter.

Nice NG PowerPod add on
So in case there's any confusion, this is an ADD ON to the primary Generator. You can connect the solar panels directly to it (but not the windmill add on). To use the Pod, you have to connect it to the primary Generator. Then, you can use the system as described with the additional capacity from the Pod. It does have a 12v DC outlet, but I've not tried to use that. The Pod is just what it claims to be - more capacity for your primary back up system. 100Ah worth, so a little more than 1.5x the capacity of the Generator (60Ah). The Generator has a 15Wh inverter, so at max load with 160Ah capacity, you can do the math to determine how much "time" the pod provides for powering your device(s). Physically, it is heavy (around 90 pounds) and is a solid piece of equipment. The handles are convenient, but it does not have wheels, so you'll probably not want to move it around much. It connects seamlessly to the Generator through a provided cable. Mine worked fine out of the box, and even came with a little charge. You'll need to charge it up overnight, and to do so you can use panels (during the day) or plug it into the Generator and plug in the Generator to local utility grid supply. Takes about 5-7 hours to charge up. If you're interested in purchasing one, consider that the company is launching a new Generator with a 30Wh inverter and larger 100Ah battery. It may be available late summer 2020. I recommend visiting their website to learn more about this product, since the the new Generator won't work with the "old" Pods since the connectors are different. If you consider or want the larger inverter/capacity battery, just remember that the new Generator doesn't have expanded solar recharging system. If you're recharging/generating through solar, you're still limited to 100Wh per panel for both Generators and accompanying systems. I am satisfied with my system, but since I just purchased it, I wish I had known that the new system was coming soon.

It needs more power.
Does not have enough power to runs the motor home air conditioner for more than 5 minutes. Before it completely drained the generator.

BELIEVE THE 1 STAR REVIEWS - They are indicative of what you are about to buy!!
I am an Engineer. I thought I did a great job of research before buying this generator or whatever it is. 1st sign that I had made a mistake was when I discovered that it would not run a single serve coffee maker. Should have returned it at that point. I bought this for a power outage backup for a couple of led lights and maybe TV & WIFI. Fast forward .. Return Window passed. Now I have used this piece of xxxx less than 5 hours to charge a cell phone and a couple of other very minor things and it has completely pooped out. Oh, did I mention that the Pod Male plug will not fit into the Female plug on the generator unit? Nope, I had to repair that myself to make it work. 22 Emails and several phone calls to Natures Generator resolved nothing. They have no resolutions for problems. The (only) Technician they have told me to push the plug harder to make it go in. Lol … what a joke. I could go on with the Service that I have received so far but the best thing I can add as a review is that the unit is very pretty, non functional and the service is pitiful at best. In my area of the country we would call this “a pig in a poke”. Thank you and if you buy, I hope your luck is better than all of the other 1 Star reviews because that is what you might as well expect.

Battery life poor
Update 6/2025: after 4 power outages where we used it no longer holds a capacity charge. Pulling 70 watts continuously drains it in 4-5 hours. So fully charged it holds about 280-350 WH. I feel sick about the waste of money in this company. Stick with Bluetti, Ecoflow, or Jackery. I’ve purchased all 3 of these and they have held up as advertised, unlike this extremely unreliable poor performer. The low prices were great, but you get much less than what you pay for in this case, much much less. Sad. Earlier review: We used this once to keep our refrigerator going for 2 days, when not running the fridge off a gas generator. After that we charged it off house current every 3 months to full power on the meter on the front. Battery no longer shows more than 40% when we plug anything into it. A year ago it would show 100% at start of use. I suspect the battery is failing. Given the price of the system this has been a very bad deal compared to my Ecoflow system and my Bluetti system. Both show full watt hour capacity.

Gray non- smelly generator!
So far so good! I can’t leave a complete review because I have no way, at this time to set up the wind turbine. I am van dwelling and I need it to be a portable turbine. There’s not enough you tube in the world to help me figure out how to stabilize it and keep it portable. With that being said, I am using the generator/inverter with shore power or solar. The solar keeps it well charged on a sunny day, which is great for keeping my portable rcooler/refrigerator/freezer combo going when traveling. The solar panel is locked to my roof rack, the generator and cooler combo are on the far rear bench in my van. The cable goes through a small opening in one window. The cloudy days are less than ideal, so I disconnect the solar and use shore power which also works fine. I’m glad to have enough options to keep the refrigerator going as I am van dwelling and I rely on that cooler combo to eat healthy. I have chemical sensitivities so having a non-gas generator is ideal for me! Thanks guys. I will update if/when I get the wind turbine up & running!
