An incredible piece of technology
An incredible piece of technology. Image quality is just spectacular, auto focus is fast and accurate, the screen and touch capabilities look and work fantastically. 7FPS is good but I have got the grip for 9FPS functionality. Expensive but worth the investment if you're looking for a serious camera for years to come. The weather sealing also seems durable, I've had this drenched in rain with one of my Sigma lenses and I mean drenched and both the weather sealed lense and camera worked as they should minus the touch screen being a bit fiddly due to the water on it which was easily sorted with my jumper sleeve. If I had to pick a few flaws in it. The screen would have been nice to fully swivel however I understand why this is not the case as buttons sit both sides of the display. It's definitely not easy for beginners however I doubt you'd be shelling out this sort of money for a starter camera. It does have some automatic abilities but they're not as easy and intuitive to setup and use. I also feel battery life could be better but to be fair with 1 Nikon EN-EL15A battery, I shot 1500 photos over 8 hours with the camera permanently turned on, lots of reviewing photos and the camera literally just showed the battery warning as I got to my car. A couple spare batteries in my bag is easy to carry and allows for at least 2-3 days of heavy shooting.

Best camera
I had this for few weeks now and I have to say it blew me away, first of all I’m not new to Nikon as I had Nikon D3300, Nikon D3500, Nikon d5600. I still have all of these and they are great camera but this Nikon D850 is a beast, it can handle anything you throw at it,Pro:1) picture quality is spectacular, breathtaking, clear2) Battery life is great you can take at least 1700 pictures on one charge as I did3) Focus is awesome,fast4) build quality top. Best as it can get5) easy to use well for me it is6) landscape brilliant, wedding , wildlife7) low light8) image quality I know same as number 1 just can’t stop it’s that goodNow the con : 1) quite Heavy2) QXD card too expensive3) no date stamp I love that, previous camera dated for record. why you taken it off uhhhhh4) that’s itSeriously this is a fantastic camera for professional or beginner. Yes it is expensive for beginner but if you can afford it go for it. I like taking pictures of wild life, wedding, and sports, family etc it can handle anything. now few people will disagree with me when I say this don’t get QXD card because it’s too expensive you won’t need it unless you are taking super fast objects, I have sandisk extrem pro SD card that does fine no problem got it from amazon for £74 it’s 64gb 300mb write. So I saved a lot not buying QXD card which is three time more expensive. Instead of QXD card get an extra battery that’s my view. If you do decide to get an extra battery then get an original it’s always the best choice. I am so impressed with this camera I can talk for hours.
