Quality of this tool was much better than I expected for the price. Tool worked well for crimping lugs to 8 ga. copper wire.

I had no business expecting these to work as well as they do for the price. Really helped me in a pinch. (See what I did there)

I have been using this tool for almost a year and while it does work kind of, I curse it every time I use it for several reasons. First it is not in USA wire sizes (AWG) so you are guessing if you have chosen the correct die size. Second the dies do not align very well at all so you get crappy crimps. Third one of the dies has become very difficult to rotate to a different size so it requires using some kind of a tool to try to move the die around to a different size. I have been able to get the tool to work BUT just barely and the crimps are POOR quality. As a result I don't trust them. Bottom line is I can't return it after this time and I am shopping for a replacement, but I am afraid that they are all going to be junk because most of them are made by the same company with different labels on them for the different importers. The race to the bottom has been won. Bummer.

This will not work for AWG unless you feel like wasting a bunch of terminals, guessing at die sizes and ending up with subpar crimps... Buy an FTZ tool or nicer.
