After removing all black/silver fillings and replacing them with apparently HG free white composites this saliva test comes as a shock to me. My teeth are still full of it. Test is very easy to do and at reasonable price. It takes few minutes to do and results are ready after 20 min. You can use it to test saliva, urine, tab water or any kind of liquid including meat juice. There is even an instruction how to test fish meat for the heavy metal content. Would I do it? Probably not as we do not have an access to fresh fish source.

This test it does not work! I tested water from the supermarket, tap, and even distilled water, and in all of them, tested mercury! There can not be mercury in distilled water. They say in the instructions as an example that in distilled water should test no metal! Do not buy this one, it was only scaring me for no reason!

It is as advertised and seems to detect reliably.

The test is easy to use and seems to be one of the more accurate ones on Amazon. Please note you only get one test so read the instructions thoroughly. I tested my tap water as I wasn't sure how old the pipes were and wanted to check for lead. It turns out there is Mercury present in the water, which is very concerning. I will be sticking to bottled water.

This kit is an amazing and wonderful thing. I purchased this to test the water in our new home not expecting much. I found that the lead content was very high according to the kit. This prompted me to call the water company who tested the water, it later transpired the pipes were lead and needed to be changed. Thanks to this kit, the health of my children has been protected and I was able to do that.

This is my results, see photo. Not sure what to make from this. Is it orange, or brownish orange? No matter what the test panic me a bit.

Absolute rubbish. When I tested my tap water it showed positive for mercury, this caused huge panic because my wife was 8 month pregnant. Thames water did a test for mercury and lead and they both came back minimal. Do not buy.

This product was easy to use and splits the metals up, however it shows from 5ppm which is well below the safety level for drinking water which is what I was testing. As the metal i was testing for was not present this provided the answer i needed. Excellent value for money and I would recommend it

Works as described. I did a urine test with a 24-hour collection method (the instructions recommend first morning urine but I wanted to be sure my results would be accurate). I followed the procedure described by another lab for collecting 24-hour urine for HMT. Immediately after adding the urine to the test solution and shaking as instructed, there was a very distinct reddish pinkish band starting to form near the top of the liquid. I was amazed at how quickly the color started to form, since the instructions say to wait at least 15 minutes for the final result. The only thing that's a bit problematic is that the colors on the upper end of the spectrum are so close together that it's difficult to tell which color is the accurate result. I'm still not quite sure if my result is coral, brownish pink, or bright clear pink. There's also some guesswork involved about whether other metals are present if the final result is at the highest end of the spectrum. Even with the guesswork and questions, I bought this test for one main reason: I wanted an easy, inexpensive way to test at home to see if discussing HMT with my doctor would be worth it. Had this test come up negative, I would have had no reason to discuss blood HMT with my primary care physician. Because it is positive, however, I know now that more in-depth testing may be beneficial.

The test confirm what I suspected. Positive for Mercury. After over 20 years of mysterious symptoms I had to have a root canal on a tooth with an amalgam filling.. About a week after that, a tremor that I had in my left hand for years was gone. That has led me down a wild path of discovery of just how dangerous mercury in your mouth can be! That filling was damaged however I went to the conventional dentist regularly it was never suspected to be a problem until I had pain & infection. I am switching over to a Biodentist to get the rest of the metal out of my mouth!
