Doesn’t wash anything
The media could not be loaded. Calling it a washing machine is a huge stretch, I tried washing a single pair of sweat pants and it barely even move it around. The motor isn’t very strong and for any heavy clothing it barely does anything. It might be ok for a few kitchen rags but that might be a stretch. I was hoping to bring it with me on a trip overseas, but I’ll be donating it the first chance I get.

Good To Have Even If You Already Have A Regular Washing Machine
I have small items, like cloth eye-glasses cleaning towels, small specialty car-care towels, socks that only cover one's foot & not one's ankle, pairs of workshop gloves (non-leather) that the regular washing machine might be overkill to clean. I use these items frequently, and thus tend to need to wash them frequently. I can't just throw them in with the regular wash. The car car towels need special soap, the gloves are usually contaminated with one noxious chemical or another, I seem to be the only sock-wearer in my household, and eye-glasses cleaning clothes would just get their delicate little selves lost with all that other giant-sized (relatively), durable fabrics I would normally wash. I also prefer to not use regular clothes washing detergent with many of these items. For these tiny specialty cleaning tasks, this little washing machine is nearly perfect. It's adorable to watch this machine's little agitator spin first one way and then the other, back and forth, in order to agitate this laundry. You have 3 settings, 5 or 10 minutes of agitation for washing, and 3 minutes of spin cycle. I use the 10 minute setting for washing, and the machine really moves the water and items to be cleaned, and the 5 minutes cycle for "rinse." After I drain the wash water via its spigot, I load it up with fresh water a couple/few times for the rinse. What this machine saves me is time. I could these small items by hand. This machine saves me an enormous amount of time, especially when washing multiple eye-glass cleaning towels or socks. One could probably wash a couple of light t-shirts at the most at one time with this machine. I think Jeans would be problematic. I wouldn't even consider using something like this for normal type washing, but for my task, the machine is nearly ideal. The body of the machine, which is both the outside, and the outside, compresses down so that the unit is half it's height. That outside is made of some sort of quasi-flexible vinyl-like rubberish material. I have no idea how durable it would be over the long haul. Now, for its downsides: I don't use the spin cycle because the basket intended for the spin cycle is so difficult to remove. I had to use small pliers to compress the holding locking tabs to help me get it off. I suspect a small prying object, like a small screwdriver or similar could also be used to assist. The basket snaps in easily enough, but removing the basket from the agitator is agitating. Also, the machine makes a fair bit of noise as its cleaning. Nothing like a regular washer, but not sound proportionally little to go along with its size.So long as you have the space to store this item, it's a nice addition to a laundry room. I dinged the unit a star because the spin-cycle basket is so very difficult to use effectively, the directions are very poor, and the settings, the available cycles, are limited. Other than that, given its price, its a great little unit. So long as you don't pay a fortune for one, I'd say go ahead and get one.P.S. I read some reviews that say this machine does not wash "anything." These claims are not true. Its true you have to replace and drain the water yourself, not a big deal for me. Lazier folks might balk at the notion. I had a very expensive, top loading, brand name, HE washing machine for my regular laundry. Ultimately I replaced the unit for one with a traditional, old school, agitator. This little machine agitates it's washing tasks WAY better than this expensive big machine, and millions of people use these HE machines seemingly without complaint. This little thing rocks and rolls its laundry tasks, while that big machine would barely wiggle laundry for even the SMALLEST loads. Large loads? NO AGITATION WHATSOEVER. Given the washing machine landscape generally, these machine definitely washes (and rinses, and spin-dries if you have better luck with your basket than I had).

Disappointed with This Portable Washer
**Title: Disappointed with This Portable Washer**I had high hopes for this portable washer, but unfortunately, it has been frustrating. From the first use, I noticed multiple issues that made laundry more of a hassle than a convenience. The washing capacity is far too small, barely fitting a few lightweight garments at a time. The motor seems weak, struggling to properly clean clothes, leaving them still feeling soapy even after multiple rinse cycles. On top of that, the build quality feels flimsy, and after just a few uses, I noticed leaks from the bottom of the unit. The drainage system is also inefficient, making water removal a tedious task. To make matters worse, the noise level is unbearable—it shakes so much that I have to keep adjusting it to prevent it from moving around.Overall, this portable washer did not meet my expectations. I wouldn’t recommend it to anyone looking for a reliable laundry solution. It’s been nothing but a headache, and I regret purchasing it.I would give it zero stars.
