I too, thought it had expired and then I wrote to the company and they explained it to me. If you look at the back side of the mask it shows best before YY.MM.DD. The date at the bottom of each mask packet is written 200808. One would read this as 2008/08. This is confusing I know. But if you read it as it is written according to YY.MM.DD. it reads 20/08/08 which in the expiration date. I don't want people to think it is expired, as it is not. I tried one of these (and I did not have a procedure done) as just a regular mask. I can not praise the benefits enough. It is a higher cost that you're run of the mill mask with good reason. Absolutely fantastic. Please know I am in no way affiliated with this mask or the company that produces it. It is excellent. I will be having a face peel done at my doctor's office in the next month and I will come back and write another review after having the chemical peel done and using the mask during the healing phase.
