Das Gerät wirkt wertig und lässt sich leicht installieren. Der jetzt entscheidende Punkt: das Gerät funktioniert. Ich habe zwei CO-Melder, einer im Heizraum einer Ölheizung und einer im Erdgeschoss, weil dort ein Holzkamin steht. Tatsächlich hat der Melder im Heizraum kürzlich ausgelöst, kurz darauf auch der im Erdgeschoss. Ursache war ein Defekt an der Ölheizung, der vermutlich sonst nie aufgefallen wäre. Die CO-Konzentration war noch weit weg von tödlich, aber wer weiß, wie lange wir auch im Wohnraum dem Gas ausgesetzt gewesen wären. Ausgelöste Melder lassen sich über die Zentrale oder die App vorübergehend stummstellen. Allerdings wird der Alarm nach einigen Minuten erneut ausgelöst, wenn die Konzentration nicht sinkt. Das war in unserem Fall tatsächlich ein bisschen nervenaufreibend, aber es soll ja auch warnen. Insofern: CO-Warner sind ein Muss für alle Haushalte mit verbrennen enden Maschinen oder Öfen.

Great connected detector, but isn't a voice model
Seems to work best but swapped it out for the one with voice alerts (as I didn't realise this version didn't have them). Very loud alarm, easy to install with a secure base (no idea why people have an issue removing it, it's just a simple twist), and connects to the base station and other alarms without a hitch. Battery is indeed replaceable

Lebensretter versteht sich blendend mit HomeAssistant
Endlich mal ein Melder, der nicht nur laut piept, sondern auch mit meinem Smart Home spricht. Die Einrichtung mit HomeAssistant lief reibungsloser als mein letzter Versuch, ein Spiegelei zu braten. Warum er top ist: Zwei-in-Eins: Erkennt Rauch und das unsichtbare CO-Monster. Spart Platz an der Decke. HomeAssistant-Integration: Erscheint sofort als Entität. Jetzt kriege ich eine Handy-Benachrichtigung, bevor die ganze Nachbarschaft meine Kochkünste riecht. Kompakt: Sieht nicht aus wie eine UFO-Invasion an der Decke. Fazit: Beruhigt die Nerven und das Nerdfest im Sicherungskasten gleichermaßen. Absolute Empfehlung für alle Smart-Home-Bastler!
