I had no formal knowledge of YSL's Black Opium prior to purchasing this "dupe" perfume. My go-to signature scent for years has been "Bare" by Victoria Secret- I loveee it but sometime I like to spice it up with something a lil different. I was a huge fan of Bath & Body Works abandoned ( :( ) "Amber + ______" scents via 2017. It's how many years later and I am sad at the thought they never brought that collection back. I love feminine amber notes SO much in my scents - I cannot get enough of them. This scent is the best best scent to switch it up with between my almost daily "Bare". Just made my first repurchase and will likely continue to buy once I run out. I think the longevity of this scent is great - I smell it on my clothes and even hair days later. Highly recommend if you are someone who loves the notes listed! It is definitely worth the try!

I have been wanting to to try this for sometime now and got it ata holiday price. I have only ever purchased Black Opium, loving the smell! My husband can’t tolerate strong artificial odors and perfumes that are not genuine. With that being said, I feel this is the best smelling artificial perfume I have ever tried. Star off for not knowing how long it lasts but it lasted at least thru the Eagles game!! The Con: when I wear the real Opium, sometimes my husband doesn’t notice the smell because the fragrance is subdued where with wearing this. He smells it right away because it is overpowering in like an artificial way. I LOVE it and thats all that matters!! Price point is great as well as the amount of what you get. I can’t afford the best in retirement but runner up is looking mighty fine!!!!!

This is my new signature scent. I've always used lighter more playful smells but I like this as I've gotten a smmmmidge bit older I notice things I liked before are changing. I like the Vanilla scent now or the gourmand scents. Its vanialla but its not a gross headache kind of sweet its light and qood quality. This is my 2nd bottle since Christmas. I spray this at bedtime and I smell so good all morning. It lasts several hours during the day as well at least 10 hours I can still smell it. Its a 1.7 Oz bottle and the sprayer is forceful, for lack of a better word, not a light spritz but a good spray.

3.5 stars for me. This is not a great dupe for black opium. However, it’s not terrible either. It smells like black opium with a ton of white florals added. The notes just don’t line up to the ones listed. It’s not far off after the dry down and is mildly similar, however there are a few dupe houses that make better for similar/cheaper than prices in my opinion. I do own the OG YSL and am able to compare side by side. For others who aren’t looking for identical clones but like the scent profile, this one may work for you. Longevity isn’t great. I like beast mode fragrances. But this isnt one that evaporates off your skin right away either. You can get a couple hours at most out of this. Fades into a nice soft floral musky dry down. Bottle is cute and simple. The size for the price is average. But I’m not mad at it. Nice powerful sprayer. I just want to give the best review I possibly can for anyone blind buying this. She is YSLs cousin not twin, or even sister for that matter, I call her white opium because it’s a lighter musky floral take on the original. And the longevity is too many hours off for them to be sisters. But she IS decent otherwise. Actually I just realized something before posting this… I couldn’t figure out why this was so familiar I thought it was because it was similar to the black opium… but this smells almost IDENTICAL to another fragrance I have called First Instinct by A&F. Now that’s a good dupe for that. Problem is, the A&F one lasts 4times the amount as this and you get twice the amount for a few dollars more.

This item is just as described by the seller but I wish the sent will last longer.
