Effective dehumidifier
So effective and quite reasonable to run for periods of time when drying washing indoors.

Heavy and bulky. App is ok but have had some issues, including losing the “schedule” for several days (Duux customer support admitted they had an issue which they resolved). Despite plugging in tubing to enable tray fill, the unit still predominantly fills to the in-built reservoir which is annoying. Quite a noisy unit but we have it in garage so not issue for us.

Effective at dehumidifying
We bought this to replace an older and very effective Ebac dehumidifier which we had had, and used, for about 45 years. The Duux is equally effective but has one drawback compared to the old one: when defrosting it sends out a blast of cold air which cools down the room. The old one defrosted too but much more gently, meaning one could feel the benefits of a drier atmosphere without a periodic drop in temperature.

AVOID THIS PRODUCT and DUUX customer service
AVOID I purchased this item as I have a Duux Fan, which I have been very pleased with. This product is a different matter, it is extremely heavy being a condensing type rather than desiccant. The compressor is a little noisy but there is a vibration and casing rattle on mine which makes the whole thing unbearable and audible between the different floors of the house. NO REPLY from DUUX customer service and Amazon involvement not great. I would return it but it's so heavy that handling it is really not an option. On a positive note when in noisy use it does seem quite effective.

Good at what it’s supposed to do.
Great at dehumidifying, rubbish at staying connected to the app. I’ve given in and just use the buttons on the top. Has cured our window condensation in the cold weather.

Excellent dehumidifier
Seriously very impressive dehumidifier. I never realised I had so much humidity in my house. I change the tank twice a day. It’s very efficient and the washing are being dried in no time. The machine is relatively quiet too comparing to previous dehumidifiers I had before. I can’t fault it hence I gave five stars. Highly recommended
