Perfect Recovery Sandal w/Cushioning for Plantar Fascitis. The arch support is great and snugs right into my arch, the cushioning is like walking on a cloud and it relieves pain in my arch as well as my heel - plus the cushioning is great for the ball of my foot. These are my go-to flip flops for recovery. When my PF is flaring up, I either put these on or my Hoka Clifton 9 sneakers with an Aetrex L400 insert. Highly recommend. BTW, I have a bunion so I always get flip flops vs. sandals with straps so nothing presses up against it. I got the Black/Graphite color and I love it. Had a previous all black pair and I like this one better - looks less harsh/ortho and matches everything. I am a true 8.5. The 8 fit almost perfectly in length, but the arch didn't line up. I got the 9.

Few products these days give you a “wow” factor immediately upon using for the first time. Oofos flip-flops/sandals do just that. When I first tried them on and walked around in my house…WOW!!! I’m a very fit muscular guy (5’5”, 152lbs) having lived over half a century now but I also have had severe rheumatoid arthritis since a kid with both hips and both shoulders replaced and both wrists reconstructed all within the last 7 years. Although my artificial hips are doing great, my gate has been inefficient, unbalanced, and just “off” since I received my bilateral hips…but these Oofos sandals with their patented footbed have literally changed my gate back to an anatomically fluid and balanced motion again as well as promoting a forward inertia as I walk. They don’t merely have a pronounced arch either; it’s the entire footbed that feels so good as you walk. There must be some serious podiatric science in the design of Oofos shoes and it’s footbed because I can literally feel the engineered purpose in them when I take them on a walk. (Actually, they take ME on a walk!) These aren’t shoes to simply protect your feet; they’re designed to promote a better walking gate and overall posture. Also, the footbed surface stays with your foot…they don't necessarily stick to the bottom of your feet but they don’t slide around under your feet, either. The tack of the footbed surface is just right and allows the shoe to stay in place. Also, the entire Oofos footbed has a little give and cushion as with most flip flops but the Oofos foam footbed is also stout enough that it holds it’s unique footbed shape while in motion and during weight transfer. Yes, Oofos are pricey, especially for me with a flip flop, but as they say, you get what you pay for. And these are worth every single penny. Lots of knock-offs are out there but they won’t have this patented footbed which is no less than amazing. If you have ANY back, hip, knee, ankle, or foot issues, you must try Oofos. FIT: I wear a men’s 7 1/2 medium and the Oofos size 7men/9woman was perfect…as Oofos recommends, I have a 1/2 inch space in the heel and toes. So, for men with half sizes, size down. I got the graphite version…black with a gunmetal color on the straps with the subtle Oofos “OO” logo on the outer strap. I haven’t tried them in wet conditions.

I ordered these to wear once I was weight bearing after Achilles tendon surgery. At first they were too hard (I was anxious to get out of regular shoes). But after about a week of short daily wearings they were soft enough to wear for longer periods. My foot is still healing so that played into some of the discomfort initially. I only wish I’d ordered a half size larger than I normally wear. I recommend them if your feet need TLC or you just like extra padding/cushion under your feet.

I do understand that these flip-flops are little expensive, but I’m telling you they are worth every penny of it. They are so comfy.

This is my first pair of Oofos. They do take some getting use to. They are "mushy". This is good, but also odd. When I walk, it isn't with a sure and flat foot. It rocks a bit due to the thicker and soft bottom. I'm used to a more sure footed flat foamy bottomed flip flop. I do tent to wear the heal out of flip flops as I'm a heal walker. These would probably take some time to do so, if at all. Wife also got a pair in a different color. She is complaining of her ankles getting sore. Like I said, not a very flat footed step, so your ankles will engage to stabilize. This is slight, but it is noticeably so if you are new to these. After a long day at work though (and I work out and run on my lunch break) and slipping these on, it does feel good. I'm not sure these would replace all of my flip flops, but if I need the "relief" and / or if I'm going to walk a lot, these would be what I grab. If I'm just hanging out, running to the store or whatever, basic flip flops will do. If you have a friend who has a pair, ask to try them on and see what I mean. It's not good, or bad, its different. I can see if not everyone feels the same. For me, its sort of a relief or treat. I wouldn't want them to forever replace flip flops though.

I'm wear size 8 running shoes and my size 8 Oofos fits well for length and breath. Still, they don't feel great. It feels loose, like my feet needs to be higher or have more volume to fit well. I wish they had half sizes. Yes,they are soft and comfortable. Pillow-like. Only issue I have is the fact that my toes feel almost in the air when I stand. They aren't supported... My weight isn't being distributed equally, mostly at the mid-foot. Edit: After wearing them for a week, they now fit and feel much better. 5 stars. After a long run, these feels great!
