These bulbs are brilliant idea. I put one in my kitchen just to see how it works. It won’t light up in daytime with enough light in the room but active when darker. The sensor is quite sensitive, the bulbs lights up as soon as I open the door from living room to kitchen, and it will switch off automatically after I left 40 sec later. It’s so handy and convenient. It’s energy saving led as well. Love it. Up date: been using it for a week now, all good.

I brought this product as I couldn't fine an outside light with a motion detector which I liked. This bulb allowed me to buy a light fitting I liked and to fit it with a motion sensor light bulb that does the same job. - much better

Easily installed in a standard bulkhead fitting and quick to respond. The light is bright. It is a very white daylight bulb at 6,500 Kelvin. If you have standard lights in your garden (warm white is 2,700 Kelvin) it may be mismatched.. I use it for a dark passageway at the side of the house and I'm very happy with it.
