Love the book.
Order the book from looking and seeing 3 items but it had so much more to offer I'm glad that I ordered the book.

Fresh inspiration
I've long been an admirer of Japanese sewing and craft books, so I was very excited to see one published in English. I borrowed it, made two projects, and decided that I needed a copy for my own. The projects are very simple, instructions easy to follow, and the beautiful photography is a source of inspiration. Each time I pick it up I find a new project to make, or a fabric combination, or a fresh look I was to re-create in fabric.

Beautiful book, but..
I love the projects in this book, but the directions are lack consistency and clarity. Possibly for a expert sewer there is no issue, but for an intermediate novice, the directions are confusing. In some places it states to add 1/4 seam and in others it's been added. And the measurements are not average measurements (e.g. 1/2", 1/4"), but uses 7/8" in many of the projects, which is not even on my ruler. I still plan to work on projects from this book, but it's more of a challenge than I wanted.

Original
Originales, divertidos y contemporáneos diseños. La explicación no es muy clara, aunque no son proyectos complicados, lo básico es la combinación de telas y elementos que les ofrecen un toque distinto a bolsos, colchas,... y demàs.

Good book
This book has some good projects. The instructions don't seem to be hard to follow. Has some small projects that would be good for gifts.

Nice book.
This book is nice but not exactly what I was looking for.

One of the oddest
Books I have now. I thought it was one of those zakka style books, which it is. But odd. I'll have to try to read it in a different mood I guess.

Well written book, suitable for beginner to experienced sewers.
This is a lovely book of designs, well written and suitable for beginners and more experienced sewers. I haven’t actually made anything yet but there are lots of projects that I intend to make!

Brand new book
Haven not had time yet to try any of the projects, but delighted with the book layout, so clear nobody can fail to follow. Well illustrated and photographed. Altogether a really useful book at a very affordable price - a fraction of the normal price. Delighted!

contemporary easy patchwork
I love the Make Good: Crafts & Life series of books. They are quirky & simple, however, sometimes the instructions are a little confusing, perhaps because of the translation from japanese. I have also noticed a few errors in this book, (which happens) so I would like to see an errata link. Despite the negatives I really do find that these books motivate me to actually make what is in them. I like the slightly odd presentation style and the simple ideas. For example the floor mat which you add pieces to if it gets damaged. If you are an experienced quilter you may feel you don't need this book but I think it is always good to look at new styles and ideas with an open mind. This book cost me a little more than the price of a magazine and I know this one is for keeps.

Patchwork Style
