Add This To Your Arsenal If You Have Chronic Pain
The Vulken Acusphere is between the size of a baseball and softball. I find that the size fits perfectly in my hands when I am using it. The charge lasted several hours. I was pleasantly surprised at the vibration strength (for some reason I was expecting it to not be this strong). I found that it worked well at reducing knots in my lower neck/shoulders and dramatically relieved my myofascial pain. The various vibration settings keeps your brain from get used to the same vibration. I think this product is better than my TENS unit because the shape of the ball helps push out knots. I did have intermittent trouble with it turning off on its own when trying to lay on it for back relief. This was easily solved by having my spouse hold it instead. My spouse also uses this on the lower vibration setting to relieve her sciatica. Overall I am happy with this purchase.

Great vibrating massage tool (just don't use it on carpet)
I've been in searching for a vibrating ball to add to my recovery toolbox. This particular brand had some good reviews so I thought I'd give it a shot. It's smaller than the Hyperice Hypersphere and not as powerful (it's also 1/3 the price), but it does a good job. It has one button (with a flaw that I will get to in a bit) which turns the vibration on and changes the strength of the vibration. Here's the breakdown: - Press once and it turns on the the lowest setting. - The second setting is slightly more powerful - The third setting causes the ball to undulate between the lowest and highest setting. - The fourth setting is the most powerful (my favorite) - Pressing it a fifth time will shut the power off My only gripe with this ball is that it keeps turning off when I roll over the power button. For example, it will shut off if I was rolling my calf and the button comes in contact with the carpet. The sponginess of the carpet and the pressure from you body is enough to push the button. Since I like to use it on the fourth setting, pushing the button again will turn it off. This makes it pretty annoying. The only solution I have is to set it to the power you want and then tape a quarter over the button. It's not ideal, but it will stop the accidental pressing of the button. Of course, you will not run into this problem if you're using it on a gym floor or hardwood. I will still recommend the Vulken massage ball since the pros (durability, functionality, cost) outweighs the cons (less power than hyperice's version, using it on carpet)

Super useful for back discomfort
I have been dealing with knots in my back for some time and this tool is an excellent solution to work through those knots! There are multiple settings that can provide pain relief or simply massage the muscles. Additionally, I work in a school with children with sensory differences and this could also a useful tool for kids that benefit from vibration as a calming strategy. I have not had it too long yet but it appears very durable and powerful!

Great Product
I only wish I had purchased a vibrating massage ball years ago. As an esthetician, my trapezius and neck muscles are always tight. I recently had a fascia stretching therapy session and she used a vibrating tool on my trapezius and neck and I said I would like a ball to lay on and get massaged. She told me they do make them. I researched and found Vulken was high on Amazon's list and I liked the price. The size is perfect for me. It seems like a high quality product. I have been using it for several days and love this intensity of the vibration and how easy it is to use. I am now sleeping so much better.

Wasn't able to recharge
Worked great until it needed charged. The 3 red lights show that it's charged, but it stopped working. Only lasted a couple months. It did seem to help, though. Until it quit working.

Buy It!!!
Introduced by my friend and I totally fell in love with it. My old massage ball wasnโt vibrating so I was surprised by how this small vibrating ball worked the first time I used it. The vibration worked very well for me. It has 4 vibration levels and I like to use the highest vibration mode for releasing my hips and medium mode for my upper and lower back. Itโs really handy to take anywhere and the size is perfect to treat trigger-points and specific tension areas. It's a great recovery and mobility tool and itโs affordable so overall itโs a great buy. Highly recommend!

Highly recommend this massager!
This is a great product. I suffer from myofascial pain (knots in the back). My chiropractor recommended to lie down on a ball to run over and massage the trigger points. This product helps that with its vibrating modes and really targets the problem areas. I like how I can bring it with me when I travel compared to bringing a Theracane or a large percussion massager. I rate it 4 stars instead of 5 because of two minor drawbacks: 1) it only runs 10 min intervals before having to turn it on again and 2) sometimes when lying on it and โrollingโ it to get to the problem area in my back I accidentally hit the button, changing the mode. Aside from that itโs a great massager to have.

This is a well made quality product.
Highly effective for digging deep into tight shoulder muscles. Takes a charge quickly and holds it well. The first speed it perfect for shoulder pain relief and the rubber coating is of excellent quality, no odour. No regrets about buying it.

Exactly what I wanted
Charge 4+hrs before first use as instructed. Vibrations pack a punch, better than I expected. Have used it quite a bit on sore muscles and to loosen up lower back and hips, which has improved movement - so I'm really happy. I have a massage gun which is great - however I have to rely on someone else to reach trigger points properly in my shoulders and back so having this ball and only needing to lean it against a hard surface or the back of a couch has been so much better than the massage gun. No signs of wear and tear - have used it most days/every other day for about a month.

Very disappointed
Very disappointed. Vibration speed had gone so low in mode1 after using for a month only. And now after using for 4 months at mode 4 vibration is so low. Started making noise. And stop working after 30 mins only.

A little different but something to look forward to
The Vulken Acusphere Overview:The acusphere is a unique piece of gym kit. A small rubber-esq ball with bumps. It's travel size and fairly good on battery life. At first it's a little daunting bringing something like this to the gym but once you have a routine and you know what you are doing with it, it is actually quite nice. Pro: Now if you are familiar with foam rollers and excersizing or stretching on one of those. You'll be sort of right at home with the Acusphere. Some excersizes won't apply as the ball is a little too small but the principle is what matters. You find the point you'd like to focus on and you roll. With some creativity or knowhow you can get into some spots a foam roller can't. Top of the neck, latissimus dorsi muscles, trapezius. You can even engage your triceps and biceps very effectively with the Acusphere vs a foam roller. Cons : The entire Acusphere is indeed a sphere but 1/8th of the face is unfortunately plastic and flattened to make way for a button to engage the Acusphere. If you are an on a surphase that is proned to slipping, the Acusphere won't fair too well there. As well as accidentally engaging the button while trying to stretch can occur on muscule groups that contain edge/pointed bones like your triceps or upper back. Conclusion, the Acusphere is unique in deisgn. Very portable and pretty nice to have when you know how to use it. It can be a little strange to be seen at the gym with but once you block that out, it's a really neat kit. It's price point is a little on the high side but I think that is due to how durable it feels. Doesn't feel cheap at all and it's very "weighty" Something for Vulkan to take away : The Acusphere can be larger, I can imagine a medicine ball size Acusphere to be very benificial, similar diameter to a foam roller. Enough curve/arc and height to benefit from.
