Improves tower stability
Used the scaffold tower a few times and used wood spacers under the feet to stabilise. These base plates and really worthwhile and I now easily set the tower with a spirit level. A quick check of the plates afterwards identifies whether any are slightly loose and if so quickly adjusted. Once done the tower is far more stable.Probably around 100mm of travel so anything more requires a block spacer which obviously does not need to be the precise height.Well worth the outlay.

Good DIY tower.
The tower appears to be of good quality regarding 'home use' target. I found the sections easy to handle and erection was simple using directions supplied. Only first few sections erected to test, and it is quite stable for home use. I found it to be fairly stable but I had not yet added the stabilisation legs. These would undoubtedly of improved stability. Overall I am happy with my purchase. Beats a ladder hands down.
