WD-40 Specialist Silicone Lubricant Spray with Smart Straw, 400ml - Twin Pack I am a regular purchaser of WD40 products and this Silicone Spray meets all my expectations with the added bonus of having the 'Smart Straw', which negates the need to search for that annoying red straw which is always difficult to find, fit and it falls off at the slightest knock...… Definitely worth paying extra for. When the straw is horizontal, you get a long reach, finite spray for accuracy. When the straw is vertical, you get a broad spray, like when using Fly-Spray. The best example of my use in on my caravan's awning rail. Once the rail has been cleaned, using this spray makes fitting and removing the large awning so, so, so much easier, smoother and frictionless! Also excellent for waterproofing, on stiff zips, shower rails, drawer rollers, squeaky or stiff car boot/bonnet struts, etc. My TOP TIPs.... 1. Use it sparingly. Little is better. 2. This is NOT a 'One-Spray for All Jobs'.... Use the correct WD40 Spray for the job, i.e., Silicone, Lubricant, Penetrating, Electrical Contact Cleaner, Degreaser, etc. Highly Recommended!

Silicone lubricant has its place where the correct type of lubrication matters, and the Smart Straw format is convenient for directing it carefully. A twin pack is a sensible quantity for the workshop and general maintenance stores. As always, surface compatibility matters more than spraying everything indiscriminately.

Good bit of kit the smart straw works well. I bought it to lube the rubber seals around my motorhome.

Seriously great product- we use it on bifold doors and runners - no sticky mess and improves ‘slide’ instantly without all the mess of oil. Be aware this product is highly flammable!
