Great. Compatible size with other plates I have. Rubber coating or rubber material is a tad smelly but dissipated quick enough. Easy to grip. They seem durable.

Dont really know the difference between elite or pro or if there is really one for that matter but the pro set i got kicks ass. Highly recommend.

Good set of weights

Bought a 100 pound set a week and a half ago or so. They must have been out of stock when I bought them because the delivery date was about 2 weeks out initially, and I see now they deliver in 3 or 4 days. That's not a problem, but a day or so after I ordered them, I found another set I liked better and would be delivered faster. So I tried to cancel and the order cancellation was denied. Which seems weird because the item hadn't even shipped yet. That's not enough for a 1 star rating, but I wasn't particularly happy about it. The one-star rating is a combination of that and how bad they smell. It's not just a bad smell, it actually fairly seriously affected my respiratory system. I've had them for a day and the entire room they're in still smells. I've actually bought a lot of dumbbells from cap before that had this same kind of rubber on it. On one or two occasions, I noticed the same smell, but it was much milder. Mild enough that I thought it may have slightly affected my respiratory system, but wasn't really sure and I kind of just ignored it. This was serious though and had an undeniable negative effect that I still feel a day after. IDK if it's because they were just freshly made. I do think they were out of stock so they probably just got a fresh shipment. Or maybe they got really hot during transit, and that released a bunch of VOCs and PAHs that certain kinds of rubber can produce. Or if it was just the sheer volume of rubber from the six plates. All I know is I'm hesitant to buy another product from CAP. Or at the very least, another one with the rubber coating on it. The one positive is that I know from the previous experience with the dumbbells that the smell eventually goes away.

Great set of weights! Sturdy and feel like professional grade equipment.

No complaints! People are too picky crying about them having oil but what do they want rust on the to rust up a nice bar? People don't spend this kind of money to get cheap bad quality looking things so for half the price I'm getting the same results as the competitors. Hard plastic and not rubber coating like I thought they would be but still same results so no complaints here.

The price!! Is awesome… the smell is awful… So I really don’t care about the smell… but I live in a small apartment so I’m hoping it fades quickly I have a migraine because of it currently But cheap plates are awesome

The weights are good for the price, but they smell is pretty bad. They might want to find something to rub on them that smells better. I aired them out for a couple of days outside which helped a little, but they still smell up the garage. I can't imagine having them in a room inside my house. I'm sure the smell will eventually go away in time. Also, it's getting hot where we live and the 10lb weights are warping. They seem to be made of thin rubber and the heat is softening them up to the point where you can easily bend them and seem to warp easily. The 25lb and 15lb weights seem to be holding up well though.

Best stuffs, clean & easy to handle

Arrived ontime. Look great and match my other weights. The only thing I dont like is they smell really strong and are covered in oil.
