heavy duty and fit perfect on old cast iron sewer pipe!
this sewer cap is high quality and fit my old cast iron pipe great.Finally one that is as big as stated!

Great for my need
I needed to seal the opening of my fireplace since it was an old external type that made my living room look ugly. It fits properly and I don't get the draft from the vent that was opened after I trashed the external wood holder. It fit and works great for my purpose.

Great fit, good buy for 6 inch outer diameters
Came quick on 2 day prime and great fit, easy to tighten with a screwdriver for secure fit. Fit tubing with an outer diameter of 6 inches no problem. Did not have to bang or wedge on as other reviews seem to indicate. Just fit over and screwed metal bit to fit and tighten down. Great and great price!

Does what it says on the tin. Not pretty, an industrial product, but reassuringly solid and the tightening collar screws tight very easily.

I've built multiple low pressure aeroponics system over the years that utilize these caps. The tubes have water that runs through them which require the ends of the pipes to obviously be sealed off. Fernco caps are your only option for these setups as you need to be able to remove the caps after harvest is done. They are built extremely well as I believe they are designed for commercial/municipal applications when cementing or fusing caps permanently is not an option. I've purchased hundreds of these caps and never had a faulty or damaged one. Would highly recommend.
